I wouldn't expect SEGA having interest in 9-year-old game. The DoW2 content was shocking enough, I wouldn't expect miracles!
That being said, if they could be convinced, I'd say EF's definitely Xpac quality and I'd agree the remaining work to make it commercial wouldn't be too much. |

Conscripts are there to protect your damage dealing units and snare enemy tanks. They do this exceptionally well with having sandbags, oorah, AT nades and merge.

You're right, but Relic knows basically nothing about actual history lol. It makes no sense for Volksgrenadiers to be better than Grenadiers when Volks squads were made from wounded veterans, elderly and teenagers historically.
It was more of a tossup. Some's ranks were recruits they didn't accept earlier in the war, others were personnel from other arms of the Wehrmacht that were sitting around without boats or planes to tend to, the latter of which on average acquitted themselves well with a high morale. |
This sounds like some kind of nightmarish political infighting between the conscripts and the penals, ultimately ending with the both of them crippled against the axis grenadier.

Honestly Sappers should really be ~250 mp for how good they are. They're marginally worse than sturmpios for much cheaper. (Especially with 5 man upgrade.)
