If we're giving these guys tellers, can we finally fix tellers? Literally just nerf their damage by 20, so they can't one-hit kill all the 400hp vehicles.
Leaving them with 20hp and a dead engine means you need a sneeze to finish them off, so there's no real reason this is asking too much |
In addition when I tested the weapons I was able to give 6 SVT to conscripts.
Is there any part of this mod that isn't bugged? I know they had to do a lot to prepare it but geez
If you hover your mouse over the crate does it tell you what it is? Cause that would do the job of warning people. Also I don't think the soviets have any aitdrops besides the one that only drops in your base sector |
If the upgrade sucks this much they should make the SVTs a different profile from the penal versions. There's several different versions of STGs so it's nothing that hasn't been done before |
Its a dropped weapon with a model of a crate, because obviously there is no pickable model for non droppable weapon... mechanics aren't dark magic here.
That wasn't obvious to me, nor do I see why it should be. Or why I should assume there's no way to modify crate permissions. Sorry...

Dual zook RETs are as meta choice as it can get.
USF has the best AT gun in the game, RE zooks are good but far from necessary. And if Im talking about throwing SVTs on them then Im not using them to fight tanks am I?
Perhaps you should check the stats of base weapons of these squads, how and where they perform best in combat and compare SVTs with stock options they already have you'd see the reason, or multiple...
Whether or not YOU think its a good idea to do it doesn't really matter to me dude. I was literally only asking if teammates were allowed to pick them up. If they are as much a meme as you say then they will get improved during the preview, and then its a fair question...

If an army uses just commander callin units that is a sign the army does not have the tools it needs to function.

Emplacements are a low tier way to play as it is. They are by default strong. Why should they buff something that you build and leave on the map not having to pay attention to controll it? Vs players actually outplaying you with micro.
I agree with this take 100% but the problem is that they are in the game. Either we should remove them and replace them with something else, or re-work them cause right now they are VERY limited.
Removing brace but adding an ability to pack them up would seem like a nice path to try. Then tweak its health accordingly. At least that puts them in a better position to reward good micro |

And no, not everyones, RETs can have superior BARs and REs do not want any weapon and if they do, they have LMG access.
BARs are more expensive and can be dropped. Echelons die easily so I rarely equip weapon rack items on them. Meanwhile this upgrade is dirt cheap (especially in team games) and soviets spend less muni than US by a lot.
LMGs are very different from semi-autos, which are very different from smgs. I don't see why someone would NEVER do this. |

The only squads that don't have access to better small arms are conscripts and combat engineers.
Tommie lee enfields are much stronger and so are Rifles Garands.
About to blow your mind but guess what. You can have more than one soviet on the same team. The point of my question was that will your teammates be allowed to touch them. And if so, enemies as well?
Also I'm pretty sure everyone's engineers besides maybe OKW would benefit from the upgrade. |

My opinion is that a 5 man idea for the stg squad should be experimented with, like a few people have suggested. They stay at 4 man with shrecks, or you can upgrade to a 5th man. Maybe give him a g43 if 5 man stgs ends up being too strong.
I'm not agreeing with A_E, I was commenting on the insanity that makes you feel qualified to trash one of the greatest guys in the community. He's not an authority on balance or anything, but you could try suspending your usual behavior for a guy who's done 10,000X more for the game/community than most of us combined.

Remember you can always make the forward position for healing. It's only barely more expensive than ost med bunker and gets to reinforce too.
Right, but I can't remember which tech building it requires. If it's only the first tech up I guess that works but I thought it was locked behind the final tier? Brits are my least played so I'm not as familiar on the details |
