In 1v1s it's fine but I don't think it is in team games. But that's true for a lot of things in this game unfortunately |
I would like cons to be useable without weapon upgrades if possible, and keep that to doctrines. But the side-tech bundling is a must, 35 fuel combined for mollys and snares is insane.
Bundle them or add something to make them worth the cost. Preferably not a weapon upgrade though. |

I'm not saying US needs infil troops, just that they don't have them. Parachuting from a plane is not the same as instantly spawning in a building

Yeah phosphorus barrage would make more sense. US doesnt need any help with smoke, and it would be more useful against buildings and such. Given the theme that makes lots of sense to me |

Problem with that is that the US dont have any doctrinal infiltration units, AND they dont have a sniper.
In coh3 I would like snipers to be all but gone, or available to everyone. Maybe attach them to certain squads kinda like Jaegers and Pathfinders, but as others have said Counter-sniping is the only reliable counter, and only 3/5 factions can do that. |

Your not comparing the same thing. CQC is a whole facet of the game not a attribute like the armor number of a vehicle.
Light, medium, and heavy armor aren't "facets of the game"?

Cuz all the other factions have stock options of CQC.(Riflemen inherently good close range, penals, 5man sappers, sturms) but ost get lousy pios.
US doesn't get a sniper, or rocket arty, or any stock vehicles with more than 160 armor. It's called asymmetry. Why do you keep making posts like this, there's absolutely zero point to what you just said. |

Frag bombs are really good are you kidding me? The soviet bombing run doesn't stun tanks when it hits them. It does more damage because its concentrated in a much smaller radius.
Unless you're talking about the IL2 AT strafe, which does stun tanks but does less damage than the frag bombs.
Compare with I&R pathfinder arty, railway is a joke. Pathfinder arty comes down faster, its shells land in quicker succession, and the scatter is much tighter and the shells are almost as impactful as the railway arty shells, for only 140 munis.
Why would you compare artillery that needs a specific unit in range to artillery you can call in anywhere you have vision?
