When it comes to options without buying new gear further information would help. What's your CPU? What settings are you using to run COH2? What kind of frame rate are you getting? Have you tried re-installing?

In the general world of gaming you could do with some upgrades. Do you have a budget you can work with?

If you look into it I'd upgrade your RAM as it's pretty cheap these days, 2GB RAM is not that much these days. Depending on where you are in the world prices will differ. Upgrading to either 8-16Gb and you won't have to worry about RAM for quite a long time.

Again depending on where you are in the world prices will vary but a new Graphics card would help you out immensely. In the general world of gaming you could probably do with an upgrade here too.

Depending on where you are you are in the world you could get some upgrades at a pretty cheap price. Here in Australia 16GB RAM would be less than $90AUD and an R9 270x OC 2GB, would set you back $200AUD. For less than $300AUD your problems could be solved, assuming the rest of your gear is up to spec.

@Srinidhalaya As it turns out this IS the converted one. I already made a version (yet to be released) where it is impassable. The map is good but I wanted to take it a step further. The other version is 192x416 and is designed as a choke point map. I've stamped the playable area and extended its borders to 416x480 to make it much more open. Basically doubling the map in size and tripling the ways to cross the river.

I only got around to buying CoH2 at the start of December and I'm getting pretty close to releasing this map but some areas still need a lot of work before I'm going to be happy with it. and I really don't want the river to be what kills the map.

Gonna check it out, just finished a 6 hour world builder session. Time to relax and play a game. Be back to comment in a bit.

Thanks I wanted to give a good account for the maps atmosphere. As for feedback, to me any feedback is good feedback even if it is negative. As I say I haven't received much so I'm not sure whether to take that as good or bad. So really at this point in time any feedback is appreciated.

Because the map uses Lyon as a base and I have simply built around it the majority of the feedback I would hope to get on is whether what I have added on fits with what was created in the original.

I'd also like to see the map become popular amongst CoH2 players, so game play aspects are important to me too. The biggest ones here would be layout, resource balance and aspects of the map that don't suit the new style of territory capturing.

Atmosphere while not as important for game play is vital to give people a reason to want to play the map. So knowing if players are feeling immersed in the maps atmosphere is somewhat important for this aspect

Well as the title suggests I'm after info on Custom Horizon meshes. I have a map planned out but I can't find a Mesh that matches the size that I want to create the map. I'm fully aware that I could simply extend the oob area so that it looks good, but that always incorporates extra work load that no one really ever looks at. Considering the size of the map I've planned for it would be quite a lot of extra work so I'm simply wondering if anyone has worked out if we can incorporate a custom mesh in CoH2 world builder.

I might also add that I've looked into a lot of the larger meshes and because the cannot be altered they simply don't fit what I'm after. For now I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to make a massive attempt at making a decent oob area around my planned map size. But I'm hoping someone might be able help me find a way around this.
