Stormjäger Sorry, I actually played in the last 4v4 tourney and I know for a fact the Sov/Sov/USF/USF comp was the meta. Soviets Maxim build alongside USF airbourne was absolutely insanely good. Even teams not running that comp always had Soviets since their tools are way too valuable to pass up. On top of that, Soviets are incredibly strong with IL2 bombs, katy, ISU152 and mark target. I am not even gonna entertain your dumb notion of soviets being bad in 4v4, they are a top 2 faction in every single game mode. Graph 1: Axis is OP? Maybe the players just suck at playing allies and actually using their tools? I wager 99% of the playerbase that complains USF sucks would change their tune in a hurry if they actually played USF Airbourne cancer. Graph 2: The playerbase sucks at playing Soviets. Plain and simple. Mate you may be a decent player but your statistical understanding is so underpar it hurts reading your comments. First off, "I know for a fact the Sov/Sov/USF/USF comp was the meta" is laughable. Second, you cannot disregard solid numbers and statistical proofs just because you think different. I would make a big techinal proof of why you are wrong but I am pretty sure I would waste my time. In: COH2 Balance

The arguments are absolutely trash. There is no reason why the pioneers with the mp40 have such high sight range, unless the are helping the MG42 shoot out of the fog of war in the first minute of the game.. Things have been around for 10 years and they've been fixed, so that's fine. Any engineers have the same philosophy, laying mines, barbed wire but. But osther pios also have jager sight bonus. Nothing will happen, don't worry. Let's just shift the sight range 42 to 1 vet. Let's first address the 5000lb elephant in the room. I am not an axis fanboy. I play all factions except UKF. But let's not forget that you're really bad at the game. That counts for a lot. It's a meme faction mate along with UKF. It's the only faction where you need to backtech to get both MG and ATGs. Their tanks are literally dogshit except Jacksons. Their units are really really good but very manpower heavy and muni intensive since they need those BARS to even be competent. No decent mines, no decent engineer units (REs) and the list goes on. It basically requires very heavy nerves to play this. But your point still stands, being bad at the game as a whole certainly does not make it easier to survive with USF. Meme tier factions (serious -> meme) OST > SOV > OKW > USF >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> UKF. In: COH2 Balance

Is a faction with such an overpowered starting unit not supposed to be very good? Cause slightly below 50% winrate in 1vs1 since september is kinda low for this balance mess. Its probably a visual bug. In reality Ost has almost 80% winrate cause Pios have map hack. We live with this broken unit since launch and nothing has been done. Thank you balance team. A diversion ability which makes the unit resilient and able to go toe-to-toe with any cqc unit other than shocks. 50 sight range. Cuckfinders have 48 and other mainline inf 35. Concentrated fire makes a fellow unit kill with sniper like accuracy. Coordinated barrage allows you to use Panzerwerfers twice before reloading and at Vet2 allows them to fire further than their own range. Is very muni intensive but good guy lelic put opel trucks in same doctrine. Why haven't you taken the AFO-pill, fellow OST players? In: COH2 Gameplay

I advise you to read again what I wrote. Ok I will gladly get serious with you. Pioneers, as a unit, is a pretty useless one. It's not squishy, and if you don't upgrade with Flamer it's combat useless. Its only upsides are in support roles: laying mines, barbed wire and seeing further than purely combat units in order to assist with target marking. That's a good thing, and it ties perfectly to pioneers design philosophy. I think it needs no change whatsoever. Those kind of topics are really cringe imho, since you are literally picking and examining mechanisms that have been in place for almost a decade. In: COH2 Balance
