Thread: Please make bigger maps for coh323 Mar 2022, 12:57 PM The core problem of the mapmaking in COH2 is the fact that every battle (no matter map style, size etc) ends up happening 80% of the time for fuel, then stars. It's not good design sadly. I suggest making maps like vCOH where there were high and low fuel points (along with mp points which I really wanna see return) so that there was no point fighting somewhere for 90% of the time. Eg if you fight too hard for fuel, the opponent will cap your manpower cutoff and starve you of troops etc. This would make the game more like battling for maneuvers and less about spamming artie. You could fire out of the fog of war, it had a stupid one-click infantry counter, ez self-repair and was nearly unkillable while only costing 165 fuel? Again with that bullshit. Take the last patch for ST: they added 1cp to its reqs, some fuel and removed its ability to self repair and throw grens at the same time. I also think they removed like 5 vision. They did NOTHING to the base stats YET you claim it dominated the game BEFORE THE LAST PATCH. It's absurd, and a placebo. Unless you think allies can get a TD in the 3 extra minutes that OKW players now need more to get it. In: Lobby

I hate that, and really demonstrates the need for a hold position function. Not really a game problem as Rosbone pointed out. However, a "Hold Position" command a la AOE2 would be nice. Having insta smoke is a godsent when playing against Wehr, and I even pulled a little trick where I smoked the building the MG was, built a Fighting Position in front of it (well, covering the point) and got free nades to kill the MG.
