the thing is i dont think that its a healthy gameplay mechanic when these mines often wipes your squad at full health
100 times this. I want coh1 mines back, when they hurt everyone in squad, gave suppression and killed nobody they were absolutely great for securing flanks. |

Do you guys know the key bindings are probably hardcoded in the engine? You all yell for hotkey support, but do you even know what kind of shitstorm stands between Lelic and the solution? I know, 'they are developers, they should have done it already' but from what I know Essence Engine 3 is a massive clusterfuck.
Let's let Lelic fix the optimization, it'd be a miracle already. |

While we're on the topic, the standard firearm of the Rangers was the M1 Garand, backed up with a single M1919 light machine-gun per section, and a single M2 60mm mortar and two Bazookas per platoon. So an M1919 LMG upgrade would not be out of the question.
Submachine-guns were not officially issued at all to the squads, but US troops were packrats and found ways to get their hands on additional equipment all the time. One well-documented trick that Infantry Company commanders had was to officially declare their weapons platoon had 'lost' their two light machine-guns and then requisition some 'replacements', effectively doubling their automatic firepower

Obers have lines, but they call themselves Honor Guards. Relic changed the name but didn't have recordings for the new name, so they only use generic. Such a waste, they should just let them use the Honor Guard lines.
