Again, I could be wrong but I think vet gained is proportional to the ratio of damage inflicted to the inflicting unit's health. Regardless of implementation details, both changes would be good.

Jackson Acceleration should be increased from 2.5 to 2.7 and its target size reduced to 20 or 22(Sherman/M10/P4 size) from 24(panther size), right now they are too vulnerable to shrek blobs or does nothing to Armor covered by Pak 40s. A mid-long range pen buff would be nice too. |
Yes, there are 3 stuka/recon commanders which all are mediocre. Going for one of those means no g43, no mortar HT, no Tiger.

Sure if it would wipe the B-4 everytime. But it doesn't for the most time. It will decrew it with a good hit. But you can just repair it quickly and recrew it.
You still have to get to Vet 1 with that recrewed B-4, the likelyhood of that happening before Stuka wipes it again is very low. |
Other than using ostheer elite troops what's the best way to vet this thing I had 60+ kills in last two matches whit this still i could only hit vet2
Shoot Vehicles(KV-8/IS2 etc) with it, individual infantry cost so little that they don't provide Sturmtiger enough exp to vet. Same reason Stuka vets up slowly unless you manage to hit vehicle or destroy team weapons with it. Use Panzerfusiler AT nade or Fallshcrimjadger panzerfaust to slow down enemy vehicles will help you hit vehicles otherwise hard to hit(like T34). |

25% boost with minesweeper(support package) upgrade, to compensate this Sturmpios get less repair speed from Vet(25% instead of 50% like CE/Pioneer). Rear Echelon get no repair speed stat boost from Vet2(although they might still repair faster b/c they gain an extra squad member at vet 2). |
Then you would have to reduce RoF.
And now you have just increase the amount of RNG in the game since less shots with a higher damage output means that a miss or a bounce matters more (remember when the IS2 dealt more damage but had crappy RoF)
Jackson is currently in that situation(plus bad mid/long range penetration), combined with low HP, bad pathing and huge size(24, compared to SU85(22),Stug3(20),JP4(17)) makes the unit very RNG dependent. |
I'm sick to death of the scott squad wiping every time it fires, I don't care if you blame unit grouping or what, it's retarded. How can you even have unit preservation when this thing is just randomly squad wiping full health squads?
Upset you can't just Amove your Volk blob through american armor anymore? Also watching Siberian stream the last few days, it is not even close to "everytime", it is more like 1 out of 10 times.

not a single time was Volks one shot wiped by Scotts, took two shots at close range to wipe one squad once. Volk blobs were pushing Scotts and Jacksons off the field left and right before those lucky shots finally came in. |
Same here, the tiger ace will break everything. You can have one + one panther + infantry, not sure you can stand in front of that.
Not with the resource given in this mode(200 fuel), you can't even call in a IS2/ISU152 or the double T-34-85. There should be enough starting muniton and fuel to use any commander ability in the game once.
