Does anyone else think it's a little insane that OKW has everything they need to destroy Allied medium armor and utterly annihilate light armor / vehicles in T0? Panzerfaust on Volks, Panzershrek on Sturms, and a cheap ATG that can cloak and retreat, now with a wider arc of fire?

IMO if OKW has the Shrek back on Sturms, they should lose the Faust on Volks. It's just too much, there's no weakness... particularly when you look at the late game and they have not one but TWO tank destroyers (Jagdpanzer and Panther) with the best heavy tank as a default tech reward / T0 unit...

Whats stronger versus tanks, than 5 volks with Shrek? Yes, three Sturms with Shrek and one Volks with Faust. I hope this will turn out real soon. It was always the biggets problem for brits and OKW that hey had no non-doctrinal snare. Brits made up for this by a fast tech to tanks and OKW made up by having the best handheld AT-weapon as a T1 upgrade on a T0 unit.

Kinda curious how does Bulldozer compare vs. Brumbar currently far as AOE profile, etc. goes? Relic seems to have a peculiar blind spot when it comes to doctrinal units when it comes to patches (Lend-Guards Guards getting stuck with crappy retro PPSH, Mechanized Grens with old school super rifle grenade range, Greyhound completely forgotten during light vehicle tweaks, the list goes on...) I mean you would think if Current Bulldozer and Brumbar are similar that the Bulldozer would get buffed as well if the Brumbar does.

Not gonna lie, I've always dreamed of Bulldozing my opponent inside his base on Semois. Summer by blocking off the bridges with the Move Dirt ability lol

Your wish is my command: Sadly the sherman is inferior in many aspects to the pre-buffed Brummbar. Ask yourself how many times you see them. I see Brumbars from time to time, sometimes even more than one. The last time I saw a 105mm was as I played it myself about 6 month ago.

Here are the stats, Sherman always first, then Brummbar:

Armor front: 200 / 260

All stats not listed are pretty much the same. As you can see Sherman has three advantages: has turret / shoots about a second faster / cost less ressources

So while Reload, AOE and ressource cost of Brummbar will get buffed we hear nothing about 105mm which is pretty much inferior to the pre-buffed Brummbar combat wise. Less durable and especially its scatterdistance is awful. Sherman is more a specialist than the Brummbar because its purely AI (Brummbar can do something at least and has additional stun shot as a vehicle snare) but it performs worse when it comes to AI. Thats just silly if you take into account that it is locked behind a single commander in this game.

I personally think buffing Brummbar is the right thing, but please do not forget poor Sherman 105mm. At the moment I would always take the more versatile normal Sherman with its decent HE shells.

...and please put M10 + 105mm in Major Tech. Can't understand why they are still Call-ins.

I would vote for a moveable mortar that can set-up with sandbags in maybe like 8 seconds. It can only shoot when it is set-up. It gets a defensive bonus versus explosive and flame damage (otherwise it would always burn to the ground when targeted by flame nades/MHT/... because of the 8 seconds set-up). Normal range, tougher in mortar battles but more prone to get overrun by infantry/vehicle attacks. I think it would fit the british more defensive and cumbersome playing style.

Just my two cents, but I honestly don't think relic will ever remove the mortar pit. If they get sick of it they will just nerf it to the ground instead of swapping it versus something else... or they bring out a new Ostheer DLC commander that perfectly counters mortar pits... yeah, when I think about it they will probably do this last one.

Lol, lets face which units really have such a high frontal armor that you need high penetration TDs like Jackson if you really want to fight them frontally and can't flank. The numbers are frontal armor:

Axis - 7: Kt 375, JT 525, Tiger 300, Ele 400, Tiger Ace 300, Panther 320 (Okw + Ost), Command Panther 320
Allied - 6: Pershing 300, ISU 310, IS2 375, KV1 270, KV2 300, Comet 290

But which of this tanks are really used? Which are spotted not that often because they are bs or bound only to one or two doctrines that aren't part of the actual meta? The numbers alone say nothing.

First to kick out of the list are KV1 + KV2, they are just a fuel sink and desperately deserve a buff. Most common sight is definitely Panther, it is non-doctrinal for both axis factions and one of the best tanks in this game. Panther is followed up probably by Kingtiger and Comet, both are non-doctrinal and decent. Most common sight off all the remaining doctrinal tanks is probably normal Tiger, just because it is in many Ostheer commanders that are still part of meta and it is a force to reckon with.

This is not a whining post about germans having too much tanks with high frontal armor. I'm okay with that and absolutely enjoy playing KT and JT myself especially in the bigger game modes. But that post totally disregards actual game stats and mechanics, so I had to clear this up.
