You want Ostruppen spam + faust with your BP1... (Damm my plan to have Osttruppen secretly buffed and conquer the world was discovered...) On a serious side now. The post is mostly for grenadier and grenadier's faust is separate issue from Ostt.'s faust. If you want to know my opinion for Ostt. here it is: "Ostt. reserves" should have faust even if the T1 is not built Ostt. from "relief infatry" should have faust even if the T1 is not built Ostt. call in should have access to faust even without a T1 built if it is delayed enough, if the overpeform in anyway their performance should be looked at and not their faust ability. All at snares have been seriously nerf when the lost the guaranteed engine damage. I don't really think that some extra range would actually cause an issue. Most allied vehicles have enough AI to cause causalities to a 4 man grenadier squad trying to faust and grenadier are quite expensive to reinforce for a basic infatry... If your T1 is destroyed (can be destroyed from artillery without anyone going into your base) or if you call in gren without T1, they gren will not have access to faust either... In: COH2 Balance

If it is not an issue all factions should be able lose "tech abilities" when loosing buildings. P faust's connection with the existence of building is anomaly that server no purpose and should brought inline with the other "tech abilities". (Actually my advice to you would be to avoid posting threads when the only purpose of them is to try to make fun of others.) Thread: PanzerFaust and T1 building 20 Nov 2015, 14:48 PM Currently the Ostheer Panzer requires for the presence of the T1 building, thus is one of the few abilities that can become unavailable if the T1 building is destroyed. I would suggest that the prerequest for grenadier Faust becomes built T1 (not have) and/or research T2. That would allow abit more flexibility. Osttruppen Faust prerequest can become built t1 and/or research t2/built 2(if research t2 is too early) and/or research t3. Osttruppen reserves can have Faust as default as they are CP4 and more expensive. Lastly Grenadier have lost their vet 2 bonus of extra rifle grenade range making one of the few infantries that get only 1 bonus at vet 2, so I would suggest that the gain a range bonus in faust at vet 2. Thread: UKF all modes Emplacement efficiency report20 Nov 2015, 14:38 PM The after battle report does not include UKF emplacement making it hard estimate their contribution in the game... I would suggest the they are included in the report. Off mps could also be included so that one have a better picture. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Reinforced wire ( built time)13 Nov 2015, 15:50 PM Reinforced wire takes to long to built while it can be dismantled pretty fast. Reinforce wire it built by S.P. with the Cost and Value around 2 times that of allied engineers, it take far less time to cut it. UKF sappers can blow up 4 section of it in no time without any cost. 2 R.E. can built a better barrier with tank trap and wire in less time. My suggestion would be one or more of the following: 1)Reduced time to built 2)increase time to cut 3)increase time to built tank traps 4)add cost to Sapper explosive or limited only to world objects 5)reduce Osther/Soviet doctrinal tank traps CP to 1 In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Mortar smoke increasing utility 10 Nov 2015, 10:23 AM During the last patches EFA armies had their mortars nerfed, while WFA had their mortars types howies buffed and getting more utility via suppression. Further more, more units with access to smoke become available. Imo Mortar smoke is currently under-performing since it takes too long to deploy and become effective. My suggestion would be to make mortars to start firing smoke faster. In: COH2 Balance

You should not compare flame weapon with centaur for a number of reason, first most of the have less DPS making area denial more than damage dealers and second most of them have considerably less range forcing the unit using them to be exposed thirdly those weapons are useless against vehicles while the centaur can even take on a puma and win. If British have trouble against heavy cover centaur is not the solution. The unit should be in-line with the rest of the tanks. The relevance when it comes to RW is that it reallies terrain cover to survive and Centaur ignores that cover... By bringing the standard multiplier against cover that most weapons one stop centaur over-perform against atg in frontal attacks with little impact in its overall performance. In: COH2 Balance

(makes ATG useless)5 Nov 2015, 07:53 AM Kleft When it comes to survive-ability Ostwind has better mobility but centaur has 45% more frontal and read armor and 19% smaller size. You are also confusing damage versus cover multipliers with damage. Cover bonuses is core mechanic of the game and the majority of weapon do less damage in heavy accept some specialized weapons like flamers. The added utility of doing full damage against units in heavy cover makes it too good against ATGs and it is not needed in units like Centaur especially when other UKF armor have abilities like grenades, W.P. smoke and flamers.
