I lost an hour long game on Steppes once because I shot down a recon plane at the North VP. It crashed into my con squad and wiped it. The other team capped with an engineer to win with maybe 8 vp's left. Gotta love RNG. In: COH2 Balance

There's not much in between Basically don't go howitzer unless you already know they don't have an offmap, which is pretty rare imo Reminder to everyone here that the plane question is itrelevant, time on target, railway, etc can do the same thing to a howitzer and there's no "countering" it 100% agreed, which is why I don't really want to see any buffs for howitzers. Having units randomly disappear doesn't make for fun games. In: COH2 Balance

Once in a great while, quads will shoot down a single-pass recon plane. They're mostly good for loiter skill planes. I don't think any type of AA shoots down the IL2 or stuka dive bomb. Even if it did, you would still have Railway or Time on Target. In: COH2 Balance

Try to selectively play against randoms, as they're much less likely to have howitzer counters. You can do this by getting your CELO rating worse than 1000 and playing by yourself. I promise this won't lead to pudding or be toxic. Playing 4v4's helps........ In: COH2 Balance

A rank so low that all of your teammates and opponents will be crayon eating morons or people trolling. Then it will be entirely luck which team gets the least idiots to win, making it take forever to boost your rank back up. LOL, I was gonna post almost the same thing, but was going to call it purgatory. The strange thing about the rankings is that after awhile, it's hard to trust them. When my team of 3 queues as 4v4, we sometimes get people with a ranking of 100 that seem borderline retarded, and sometimes get people with rankings in the 500 to 1000 range that play fine. I think we lost to you and Suora a couple days ago so you're another one that dashed my dreams of mediocrity. In: COH2 Gameplay

Spotting scopes are an issue as always. 222 etc. I used one against your team a few days ago. It was having a happy life until one of your teammates thought it was worth a shot from their JT.
