AT strafe is OP, one shots most allied tanks, AI strafe is also problematic. But Stuka bombing strike is very situational and counters static targets. Of course it should counter ML-20 or B4. IL precision strike does the same thing. Yes, but you were saying that the Stuka bomb strike has flares, which is doesn't. It isn't the lack of flares that bothers me, it's the fact that roughly 1 minute of fuel and ammo resources in a 4v4 counters 3 minutes of manpower (ML20). The AT strafe has probably 3 seconds of warning to move your vehicles. I don't lose many units to it. Once in awhile I lose a Katy to it because I didn't notice the recon plane, but also not often. The AT strafe doesn't seem any more OP than the IL precision strike. The problem with the doctrine is the fuel to muni conversion gives way too much munitions, so combined with really strong skills makes the commander really difficult to deal with. In: COH2 Gameplay

I know I can make a custom game, but those are such a crapshoot when it comes to skill level. Has there ever been any discussion around this? A 20 minute game would completely screw over OKW in 1v1. When used against me, IS2 seems to wipe more, but Tiger kills faster and forces more retreats. Infantry around IS2 feels like inverse lottery (miss, long wait, miss, long wait, squad wipe). Tiger sometimes one shots, but more often gets 2-3 models and forces retreat. IS2 doesn't need nerf any more than any other heavy tank. It is anything but invincible. In: COH2 Balance

I under stand they are cannons but when a p47 strike doesn't even compare damage wise and the IL2 strafe is out of the question. TLDR it seems a bit powerful for being a cheaper strike than a P47 but dealing way more damage way faster. The 37mm loiter is really good, but with no fuel to muni conversion it doesn't get spammed. It seems like it doesn't chase as far as the P47's but does more damage to tanks in the area where it was called. I think it's okay. In: COH2 Balance

Is there a special version of COH2 where the Stuka bomb strike has flares? Also one where ML-20's are moveable? I want the doctrine that completely counters CAS. There's only five skills, and nothing wrong with the recon or the anti-tank strafe. The anti-infantry strafe is only bad if two or more players have CAS, or if the allied player likes to blob. Because of this, level (more game time) can actually be a more fair indicator of skill than actual rank. It is unlikely that somebody with hundereds of hours of gametime is a bad player. The hour counter in COH2 is kind of broken. It seems to track anytime the game is running in the background. It also counts comp stomps, which I use to farm bulletins. Most of my ranking comes from farming, and probably 3/4 of my time is just having the game run in the background. ELO (sp?) ranking does seem to work pretty well. In: Lobby
