What if soviets attacked Western Europe right after WWII:
1) Soviet forces successfully advance to Europe, using the experience of four years war against Nazis.
The Red Army in the battle hardened, lead by experienced commanders and using blitzkrieg tactics (remember at the defeat of the Kwantung Army).
2)Heavy fighting for airsupremacy. Western Air Forces superior the Soviet Union in the number, but dogfight at low altitudes not their specialty.
Start bombing of Soviet cities, the Soviet air defense in general weaker then German. As long as it does not affect the course of the war.
3)American and British bombs kill many Soviet citizens (remember the Dresden).
Soviet propaganda uses it to incite hatred in the Red Army. The main slogans is: "They are not better than the Nazis!," "Prevent a recurrence in 1941!".
4)Without air superiority Western forces are forced to retreat (remember Ardennes).
Prisoners nazi return their weapons (including tanks, planes and etc) and sent to the most dangerous areas Red breakthrough. This slows down Soviet Army advance, but can not stop.
5) Americans throw nuclear bombs on the largest mass of Soviet troops. It destroy big pice of Europe - Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Norway. Remains unaffected Spain and Italy. But it's up to radioactive rain fall.
One of the bombs dropped on Moscow, but Stalin, of course there is not.
6) Start a new Hundred Years' War. Both sides hate each other and seek to destroy at any cost. The Americans and British people see in Communists the new treacherous Byzantines.
The soviet people see in West the inhuman capitalists willing to do anything for the enslavement of the world.
Europe is divided. Some hate English and Yankees for the bombings, other blamed Communists. The Soviet Union and Allies using this to their advantage
7) ???
8) Bad end. |
BS-3: it will not happen. Too cool for soviets. The maximum that can be hoped is explosives Communists dog.
Oh, and Shermans are a fuckin joke, which I understand. USA produced about 70,000 Shermans vs the AT MOST 2000 Tigers produced, so even if they lost 6 Shermans to every 1 Tiger, it was considered an affordable loss.
"...Americans engaged only 3 Tiger I's. First time the shermans won. Second time the Pershing lost. Third time wasnt fair as it was in the process of being loaded onto a flatbed..."

Give normal animation speed. Like other grenades. End. |
Oh yea it wasn’t that effective but still in the game I have to admit the tiger doesn’t have the armor it should(su-76 penetrate very often)but still the tiger needs its own buffs since its limitation...
I agree, the tiger is ridiculous and require buff. Same for IS.
P.S. It's funny, the Red Army did not worry about the Panthers, but the Tigers ... hell, it was Tigers. СoH2 just reverse this (except that Acе) like many others things.

Lot of talk about how earlier useless SU-76 is OP now. No one talk how useless 1 vet Soviet TD generally. Again. First veterancy of SU-76/85/152 is absolutely useless. This is normal?
Returning to the topic. The price of SU-76 can slightly increase but that is all.
P.S. Barrage SU-76 is awful. There is only one point - free. |
Post a replay please.
Otherwise see my cliffnotes.
It was too long ago, sorry. |
That's a rather bad example IMO. A superior force & position should win.
position? The firefight at close range it's shocks specialization.
Besides:
- that's way more mp AND ammo invested for the OKW player
- OKW guy had more squads, and more dps overall
- STG Obers are the main threat here > targeted the wrong squad
- SPios and STG Obers are way better on medium ranges
It's all right. And yes if encounter start in medium range (no HH as it happened) may be OKW no loose solders at all. |
Shocks own any other infantry on close range.
If you a-move through negative cover and lose already half their health on the way, that's another story.
This is not true. I had a encounter 2xSturmpio + STG.obers vs 2xShocks. 12 vs 12 soldiers. Loses in the end: 4 pio vs 11 Shocks.

Not sure where i say that they're "so good". I'm saying they got a situational buff due the PPSH, not a general one.
Why not if it will late stage buff. But back to the PPSH. OKW long and middle range LMG/FG/GW torn to pieces con with PPSH in all distances. That is the problem. |
Some food for thought:
The useful part is short range dps and improved scaling. Imagine 2-3 Maxims supressing stuff, now clean up with your fragile CQB Cons, which also have Molos, AT nades, Merge, Oorah, and can build cover, while they're cheap to reinforce.
Are you trying to say that con are so good, I understood correctly?
