It's supposed to be the USF answer to heavy armor and it doesn't do a very good job at it. 160 long range penetration is pretty meh for a unit that is supposed to fight tanks with 300+ armor. It also has a very long reload time until vet 2/3 while also being made of cardboard held together with duct tape. 480 health/130 armor means a single mistake will cost you the Jackson, and since it is useless against infantry it is incredibly vulnerable to OKW volks blobs. Add all of this with terrible pathing and Axis tanks being naturally faster (looking at you Panther) and/or having blitz, and it is a glass cannon that seems to be missing part of the cannon. If P4 blitzes into the Jackson's face it will destroy it, if they try to slug it out with the Pershing they will probably lose. This disregards any possible supporting units like Shreck Pgrens, Paks, 57mm, bazookas etc. Wehr has better supporting anti tank. And outside of tank engagements, Tiger+P4 would have a lot more anti-infantry power than Pershing+Jackson, as Jackson is useless against infantry. In: COH2 Balance

If the Pershing were actually added, it would be given heavy tank pricing. So around 640/230 and 24 popcap. With that price point, it won't be a Pershing and Jackson against a Tiger, it will be a Pershing and Jackson against a Tiger and P4. In 2v2's IS-2 with Jacksons is already a thing, and it certainly doesn't dominate all other armor. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Will they ever fix the kubel?12 Oct 2014, 11:52 AM If Sib hadn't made the mistake of building wire while under fire, thus removing his Sturmpios from play, I'm not sure Aimstrong could have broken out with just Conscripts. Good play from Aimstrong though. Still the Kubel isn't a huge problem vs Soviets (as both T1 and T2 have units that can chase it off), it's USF who get wrecked by it. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Getting Rid of "Crutch" Units12 Oct 2014, 08:58 AM 295 fuel is referring to the Panther I assume. That number is incorrect though, as OKW starts with 40 fuel so it's really 255 (40 for T2 or T3 but -40 for starting fuel, 80 for T4, 175 for Panther). Puma is 70 fuel. Post also disregards the Jagdpanzer, which can come at 135 fuel (40 for T2 but start with 40, 135 for the unit) In: COH2 Balance
