Even if you made them more OP, they'd find it hard. How about the same idea but matching the players against another player of similar skill? Exactly. What is the definition of OP unit? It's a unit that, let alone your skill, gives you a non-deserved upper-hand in the fight against your opponent (the opponent being of equal skill or very close in skill), fight which would be otherwise lost. Secondly, related to the third point "If troll succeeds, thread stays open for further discussion", it's wrong judgement. If "troll" succeeds, than the unit should be modified. Period. One single game it's not enough, sometimes even best players can have a bad day. There should be at list 3 games, and then a game between top 10 players. Several tests must be made, in order to take the right decision. BUT: This is what Relic should do before "balancing" the game through patches. NOT US!! In: Lobby

You had to beat a considerably less players in ladder because just a handful still plays allies. Fixed. You are getting high in ladder quickly, because allied player base is just enough to sustain automatch going. Ever wondered why you need to wait 10 mins for a game as axis and got instant pops as allies? Realy? I doubt it. As germans we have to beat far less players to climb in ladder, if we use a different logic. As soviets however, we should beat a larger number of players to climb in ladder. The truth is somewhere at the middle and it still doesn't favor your point of view. In: COH2 Balance

But yea, okw late game is beyond op in a 4v4. That explains all. 4v4. Pfff.... I wouldn't complain about balance related to 4v4. Wtf is this game? Counter-strike? battlefield ? The only balance that matters is 1v1 and 2v2. That is the base. The balance is done stating from 1v1 and ending with 2v2. What is beyond CANNOT be balanced and it won't ever be. In: COH2 Balance

Yet when I bring up Pershing axis fanboys rage. For crying out loud okw get a commander that deploys dual p4s, JT, and non doc KT. axis love their long wait times and no challenge in team games. I can't believe that in this world exists one person whining about OKW dual p4s. Wait a little, I have to LOL: . Now go and play a little with OKW and tell me honestly in how many games you succeded to bring these vehicles you named before it was all over. The biggest mistake an OKW player can do is to deploy its command truck to early and to close to enemy base. You have no excuse for not erasing it from the face of the Earth in the first 10 minute especially if you and your partner(s) are concentrating all your forces there in a massive push. I've seen this manny times executed properly. So I'm sorry, can't agree with you. In: COH2 Balance

Supposing I am on my last 4-5 games. There I should find som opponents that will constantly beat me. Thread: The Future of the Soviet Faction11 Sep 2014, 05:59 AM 2 months ago I had like 100 and something axis games on 2v2 AT(arena team) and me and my partner decided to switch for soviets. After 20 games we were 500 places above the place we were able to achieve with Axis.That felt disgtusting when thinking at balance, I have to say that. Then, i was away for a week and my partner reached place 180 on the ladder with soviets on random 2v2. That felt even more disgusting and now we are seriously thinking if we should ever play this faction again. I honestly think that is the explanation for that "why allways 80% of players are searching to play Axis" whining thing. Speaking of allied, USF faction is not as cheesee. So, to answer your question, if we speak of faction viability soviets don't need a change. They can easily win with what they got for longtime in the future. If we speak of how exciting to play is this faction.... well...let's just say that if all factions in COH2 would be like that, this game will loose alot of fans. In: COH2 Balance
