Thread: Should OKW shrek be moved to another teir/unit?1 Dec 2015, 18:02 PM Agreed volks should not have them think moving them to strums would be best, with incendiary nades volks have too much utility still having shreks. If they simply made them similar to zooks I think that would maybe help too where they would not pen as much and do as much dmg. I don't know about this patch in general I don't mind them buffing volks I guess but the whole design of them having the reduced income equaled them having very effective units and a non-doct heavy and vet 5 and also that it would be somewhat of a big loss to them if you wiped a squad took out a panther, jp4, or KT. Now I feel like they will simply just be able to replace it when before taking one of those out might of meant GG for them. In: COH2 Balance

The other is a mortar. They serve two different things for two different factions which both are designed around. Thread: OKW Vet 5 justified (December Update)?1 Dec 2015, 17:05 PM With full income and still having vet 5 they will completely dominate late game. It will be impossible to out cap them because there infantry at vet 5 can already just stand on cap and ignore pretty much any other allied infantry or vehicles. Now on top of that they will have plenty more resources to spam vehicles and off maps. I think for full income vet 5 will need nerfed. Maybe there trucks too since there nerfing all off maps as well. I see the problem with them being linked to teching but after all there has to be some compensation for buffing volks and restoring full income. In: COH2 Balance

JP4 can be defeated by a couple zooks. Phase tech is stupid and broken. Assuming it gets fixed one day, JP4 will be completely useless. LOL. If you let you jp4 get defeated by a couple of zooks then you must be terrible at this. Or you drove it into enemy lines with 0 inf or any support. In: COH2 Balance

Smoke/phosphorous oftentimes doesnt fire and ability cancels itself (but the ability has much more range than the main gun, and phosphorous kills infantry, so...) And its grenade muni ability with super small AoE also doesnt work as a result as well. Target ground vs vehicles will never hit the vehicle. And the bugged animation from Alpha where the Comet "pens" but doesnt do damage... (Mentioned by Mittens) The panther should keep better AT and win vs Comet most times, but the Comet has much better AI and abilities instead. I have noticed that too I think that might be a majority of the problem because it definately sounds like a pen shot but just does 0 dmg that needs fixed bad and the other things mentioned that are buggy with it, i agree it shouldn't outright beat the panther but it should be formidable much more than it is now. Yes it has speed that is great but so does the panther, yes it has more AI than panther but it isn't really that great for that and it is not really needed as an AI tank. It needs more pen it can't stand toe to toe with panthers but is more expensive. I don't think asking the comet to be able to pen a panther in the front is too much considering it comes out later and is more expensive. It also takes it forever to turn and doesnt have great acceleration and misses ALL the time especially while on the move. In: COH2 Balance

As for your statement about USF not needing a suppression platform. This is true, because USF doesn't fight USF. It doesn't need to stop blobs of doom, since it doesn't fight the ones it creates itself, whilst OKW does and now has no suppression platfor apart from AA HT which can be shutdown by a single at gun. Sure it has Schwere Panzer HQ, but that is only situational, anyone can smoke that or simply bypass it and take another route, because there is no other suppression platform on the field when OKW is playing. I remember how volks use to be when they had super vet although this has not been given back to them but now with there better AI I think you will see no reason for suppression as well as them having two grenades to counter themselves from being suppressed very much the same rifles do now. I fear especially team games it will be back to nothing but volks blobs that can counter anything thanks to there vet that can most of the time let them just ignore having to use cover later on and A moving. Not to mention the suppression plat forms allies have with maybe the exception of the vickers do not really do that great against blobs they do not suppress fast enough. In: COH2 Balance

Not to mention OkW buildings don't press a button and magically become near invincible... You never have rakatens, liegs, volks supporting your trucks? Okw building don't have to press a button ( that also has a long cool down ) because two molotovs don't destroy it.... or any incendiary barrage, etc I do not even think does any dmg what so ever.
