We're not allowed to criticize the design and functionality of single units because the faction as a whole has a weaker income system? Frankly that's ridiculous. I'll say it again... this unit kills the True Signt system completely and requires zero micro to do so. That's no fun to watch, no fun to micro (because you don't micro it) and no fun to play against. I'm not saying "remove it from the game", I'm just saying it should be made a little more micro intensive and a little less robotic.

Then why even have less income than other factions if the units cant be better than other factions units? How is it fair that one faction recieves a lot less income but doesnt have better units?

This unit will be good for average players but as the top players continue to improve there wont be need of spending fuel to help them understand the game. When top players are at their peak they will have all the information they need to dominate By simply reading the game. Having it on screen will be helpful but not helpful enough to spend fuel on, anyway thats my prediction.

ofc micro should always be the deciding factor. Even in a game with complex strategies like starcraft, the guy with superior micro will almost always win. How far could someone push the skilllevels with simply "out-thinking my opponent"? This is a real-time strategy game not a turn based strategy game and in real-time speed is always gonna be a important skill to have.

Think of it this way: With more speed you can do more actions and decisions than your opponent which will make you pull ahead.

Inverse could you please explain your fascination with the "deep" strategy elements of vcoh? Because to me it looks like you could never have understod high level broodwar play if you actually claim vcoh had a deep strategy to it because to me it was just "strategy" if you wanted to use your fuel for tanks or improve your infantry. Thats incredible shallow strategy compared to broodwar and not very far off from coh2.

Yes its a pity vcoh2 lacked global fuel upgrades but OKW to me looks atleast the same if not more "complex" in its fuel investment and munition distribution like any vcoh army and im sure you will still find a reason to why "coh2 design is flawed"

remember if you ever want to win a argument over why a game sucks, just use the word DESIGN a lot.

Relic _ALWAYS_ fail to market their games, its like Company policy to not wanting to sell lots of copies of their games. Why oh why is there no streams? The most Basic and easy and somewhat effective method to bring some interest would be having a alpha tournament. Costs like nothing and streams and internet rumours is todays way of advertisement. Relic really seems not wanting the world to know anything about their expasion.

Well it's just sad to see how Kolaris came up with a way to have (dodgy) observer mode in old coh, and Relic hasn't gotten this feature on it's COH2 game yet.

Relic always speak of unlimited resources (manpower, statistics, software and ideas) but they can't even get the basic design of their game right. Although that Peter Quimseh guy does seem to have some vision (a hope, a light in the darkness). The rest of the staff usually seem clueless what path to take.

COH franchise lost it's identity with the Men Of Warification: a market strategy deployed to try and get more sales. But it lost the true soul of the game. Best evidence:
No single (sub)top Coh player (BartonPL being the exception to the rule) plays the game. The reason to that is the core gameplay has been dumped down.

Anyways signed for APF's determination to try and make something real for the COH franchise. To get to the true potential this game got.
