These number are from winter balance preview. How many 2vs2 winter balance games have you seen?
Few but every time with tiger and almost none with Pershing. And the situation already exists live.

So Perhsing is potentially the most expensive tank to get while also being the weakest at of all: You have to add at last an ambulance and Rack before getting it in real games. USF and Soviet mid game momentum are also completely dependent on their light vehicle which is not true for other factions that can go without them. that 50 fuel for USF and 70 for Soviet if they want to get the upper hand for some time before their windows close up. No wonder you barely seen Pershing in 2vs2 while Tigers are there every single game. In: Lobby |

Except for Soviet and the raketen every faction suffers the same issue with their support weapon. Not that 10% is something really relevant anyway but the reason of this change is difficult to understand. Capture and decapture rate is a braindead change, seems coming from the same source (ass) than 221 being able to lock territories. I can't wait for the combo Sprint/decap all the map with the Tiger that depop anything trying to resist, or Pzgren with their passive sprint with a vehicle close by or even better, Stormtrooper poping randomly behind and decaping anything, oh also the nice buff it is for Close the pocket commander... and I probably forget some, ah no, stupid of me, the easier one: just put a squad inside a HT and enjoy. Generalist Medium Tanks Miam, just increasing even more RNG fights, you're not making them more durable but more RNG dependent. Do you understand that 80% is a value that take sens only in high repetition of tries. We're talking here about units that need 4 shots to die, you almost never hit the 80% chance with a set of 4 tries. What you're going to achieve here is increase the number of rage post about bad RNG luck, because more than once mediums will die the exact same way they do today. If you want to make mediums more valuable, you need to increase their health pool, nobody is going to bet on 10% more chance to evade a shot to rely effectively on them. Now that you've open the Pandora box of Tier unlocking additional buffs, then be our guess and add one for mediums increasing their health pool for any faction, a paid T3/T4 buff for your mediums to make them similar to premiums, so at least you know you can count on something that is not only random RNG. Thread: Unusual Ostheer Suggestion9 Mar 2020, 14:38 PM
5 man ost squad suggestions are so over done. It makes for a good doctrinal ability because its contained but as a stock change the effects are endless.. 5 man puos would repair faster and build faster, lay mines faster ect. Also an extra model doesnt just increase durability against tanks but everything. It disperses damage more (5 men shooting at 4 men have 1 model always being targeted by 2 models at the very least) where 5 its more possible to be parity. More models for the medics to heal, more pop upkeep. What if they pick up a weapon? Now you have a cheap and durable unit that also scouts AND has increased firepower. Give them KARs and you make weapons recrewed more potent at range as well as the increased los making them absolutely superior to anything else AND cheap Just think sniper + 5 men grenadier squad. To bring the grenadier to 5 men squad you need to heavily nerf anything else Ostheer has to a point where people will just cry even more. In: COH2 Balance |

And that's why it is the most difficult to balance, The 5men gren people are dying for would put the sniper in orbit. How many sniper do we see, how many 251 or Stugs? people don't understand how those combos with buff grens or buffed 222 would become completely broken with those under used units. The problem with Ostheer is everything is linear and accessible, it is not like you can have less caring about how a M20 buff would be broken with PakH combo because they are in separate tier, require extra investment to get together and delay your T3 teching (that's an example). You buff the 222 and the impact is with everything else because everything else is supposed to be accessible in time with no extra cost or extra delay. Aside from that, the last major patch gave Ostheer a major buff with Pzgren being untied to T2 building and buffs to the unit itself and grenadier received a super buff to make them less impacted by explosive damage. Saying Ostheer is never taken in account is at minimum a lie. In: COH2 Balance |

How can it be high if OKW already have its Luch MG34 and Raketen out and Ostheer, hmg42, Pzgren, pak40 and 251FT? In: COH2 Balance |

If the idea is to give them more to blob better, I'll continue to disagree with you. If the idea is to give them more to counter blobs, they already have the best late game map control / blob control tool in the name of bunker. They're also amazing to block flanking routes, are cheap and easy to repair. And they don't cost popcap. Here is already implemented your idea of saving popcap with a great use vs any kind of mainline infantry unit. I'm sure someone will say that they can easily be destroyed/countered, and I proactively respond "like everything past 20 minutes in game". In: COH2 Balance |
Thread: Is the T70 OP?5 Mar 2020, 08:00 AM
That's a lie, you can't be swipping everywhere for your light tank, the main advantage of a light tank is the mobility and reactivity which doesn't have a engineer squad. The OS of a light vehicle with a mine is as broken as demo was, now I guess it is still in-game due to Ostheer lack of stock light tank. In: COH2 Balance |
Thread: What is the REAL problem with Ost T4?5 Mar 2020, 07:51 AM
But Ostheer isn't facing any stock heavy in the game except for the churchill. Allied heavies are all doctrinal thus when you see them you built your T4 for Panther. You want to improve Ostheer T4, I say its already fine as it is. It was a problem because too expensive so it has been made cheaper in exchange of seeing panther and brumbar less powerful. That's fine there is no need to give more advantage to it. Even if the Tiger is nerfed alongside with all other heavies (Pershing included), that will be a major buff to them, allowing the player to field one or two extra unit with it. In: COH2 Balance |
Thread: What is the REAL problem with Ost T4?4 Mar 2020, 20:51 PM
So at the same time you access the best AI and AT weapon and be allowed to field one or two more units than your opponent? Or having an increased income if you don't. Don't you see how OP it would be associated with Tigers or Elephants? Ostheer T4 is fine, it has never been meant to be built every game. It's a bonus Tier where you can pick units that should normally be available through doctrines with the exception of Pzwerfer. People want the old good Panther and Brumbar back from when they were completely unbalanced. If you look at USF/Sov stock roaster, they don't have a unit that can't be countered by Ostheer T3. Only brit and their Comet may require you to build a panther but even the churchill is perfectly countered by a pair of Stug. I understand that people want to play with Panthers and Brumbar more often but having them more accessible or stronger would just mess with the balance. In: COH2 Balance |
