Simple build to follow (in top level play there is literally only one counterplay) rifle-rifle-rifle-LT-Stuart-heal-Bars-Greyhound. All in and you basically win the game, they can only survive if they have a 2nd pak How much does it cost? 70 fuel like the Stuart I think. Well I really hope you can destroy your opponent if you invest 140 fuel while he only spend 30 on a 222. At cost of being very late on medium because once the P4 is out, you can only count on Stuart and zooks to deal with it for the time being. --- On 2vs2 depending on the map I'll prefer to spend 70 fuel on the Greyhound than 110 on a sherman to cover the flank and harass. But you need to have at least one squad of para to plant mines around. Sometime if I still decide to go sherman first, if I lose it I'll call a greyhound for the same purpose. Thread: nerf the fking pathfinder and Howitzer16 Oct 2022, 18:51 PM USF early game is fucked up vs Ostheer, you must decide between 3 RM or fast M20, your lieutnant comes from the map border, the RE is worthless and you must fight HMG and potential sniper while not having the numerical superiority. But somehow the modding team decided its balanced because you can build a mortar for smoke! And then people complain because instead of being constantly on the downside you insta pick Pathfinders... It’s like asking at what point something is a WW2 game and at what point it ceases to be one. I can only point out that the Black Prince is much more of a liberty in the context of the North Africa campaign than anything we have seen before. You can make the argument that the Black Prince isn’t more of a liberty to take than the Pershing but saying anything goes because liberties were taken before doesn’t make sense. They were supposed to be pre/during battle of the bulge, and relatively resource strapped (compared to USA military as a whole) Its so out of place that Relic didnt even try to make it a tru heavy. THey just made it a super medium. Its mobility is off the charts compared to all the other heavy tanks And Airborn troops should be made stock since they were already on the field, and Typhoons/Spitfires rolling all over the sky after 10 minutes mark each game since the bad weather only last couple of days and the most evident of all: OKW should run out of fuel around 40 minutes mark to well represent the reality of what have been the battle of bulges. Now would it be funniest to play vs a faction that have elite infantry as mainline troops, planes rolling over the map every minutes and a tick down to 40 minutes before automatic surrender? Or just add a Pershing for the sake of cool and gameplay. Same goes for Coh3 and black Prince. In: Lobby

The Units should be based on faction needs. Whermacht lacks 60 range TD - Tiger Soviets - Needs a Meat Shield and strong anti infantry tank- IS - 2 (UKF have Churchills and Fireflys) USF - Pershing non doctrinal could be the Utility based heavy tank (high speed, acts as a scout so Pathfinders are not needed) These are just examples, it would take some tweaking but would be an improvement over the system we have in place now. Thread: Heavy balance18 Sep 2022, 15:49 PM The problem is the way commander abilities are unlocked, Coh1 had it much better designed. But the game doesn't need more heavies, I can imagine Ostheer going 5men gren + tiger all the way long. Anyway, Heavies were much better balanced some years ago before the modding decided to buff them because crybabies couldn't use them in 4vs4 as one army unit. In: COH2 Balance
