No point in responding to lies, dishonesty, provocation and hate from an account that was created "magically" yesterday and which has only attacked and insulted me with its every post since. I can respond and negate everything you stated above, but doing so in a protracted public setting just destroys the thread and community, and furthermore I have no interest in talking with "someone" (probably a throeaway attack-alt) whos clear only purpose is insulting, lying and attacking me. The poll is "good" and valid though (due to huge voter turnout and structure of the questions) and infact agrees with your point in OP, that US are performing best in 1v1. For any side. That way spamming Mgs becomes very difficult, while the MGs stay effective. Im against this, because I think sending an MG to capture a peripheral, especially flanking, objective is a fair exchange away from its primary purpose of support or other infantry, but allowing it to hold its own when on a objectivr capture mission. Its quite dangerous, unwise (as your other infantry lacks theirnsupport), but I think its a viable and validnuse in meta, and dont want it lost entirely. Perhaps increase capture time for Support Teams is a compromise? (Though overall, I personally, dont think this addresses the Sov Support durability issue, which is specifically what Devs are asking about). In: COH2 Balance
Thread: US faction too effective?29 Jul 2014, 18:18 PM The poll agrees that US is strongest in 1v1, by a significant margin of votes. Of total 170+ voters, 94-97% disagree with Ciez's clear statement in this thread that Ost is strongest in 1v1, and infact vote Ost as the weakest, which is the polar opposite of the claim he made here (which though it is irrelevant to the thread, he did infact make anyways). Anyways, I agree its not relevant to thread, except to point out the almost complete disagreement of community vote with Ciez's statement, as shown by a very valid poll. He expressed his opinion, and I answered it with the poll results. There is really nothing more or less to it. Take from that what you will Lets return to discussing US balance, as is the purpose of the thread, and incidentally the poll agrees with US being the strongest in 1v1, so that was relevant.
