What if instead of wire making you change route you unit will continue to go in the direction you sent him to and get stuck in the wire stunning and damaging him a decent amount for not paying attention. i thought soldiers got stuck in these back in the day? would like to see something like this tested? it always sounded like a cool change to me
They had this in the beta for the game, it was massive aids. You can still see it in some spots in the campaign. Flat barbed wire patches they troops crawl under really slowly.
Really fun when the enemy puts that on a red cover road and you retreat through it....
You are a outlier in the Soviet 1v1 ladder right now. Can you give us some tips on how to improve our Soviet 1v1 game so we can achieve the same results as you?
Would be interested to hear your thoughts on how to achieve the same results.
Start a new account after playing for years and noobstomp your way through a small number of matches.
can you please not compare this case with court?
at no point in time did seeking need to justify his actions or say anything at all.
There will never be a judge who finds him guilty, just a tourney organizer excluding him from his private event. and thats fair
I think claiming to be using his right to remain silent as some sort of gotcha like it's a real police investigation is silly.
I am pretty sure everyone knew that i was working on my document. I even talked with mutliply people (players, refs) and they were all waiting for my document. I also streamed last time and people asked me if i am trying to appeal. AE even gave me the chance of one week of response to this case. You can also check AE's second video.
You had a week though, the first accusation drop came out last Wednesday and the final decision was this Wednesday. If you needed more time you should have said something.
An RTS (Or, really, any previously PC exclusive game/franchise) getting a console release is admittedly a little concerning. Perhaps it won't affect AoEIV negatively, given the improved KMB support for the new Xbox, but i'm still a little worried it's going to cause the game to be simplified.
Guess we'll have to wait and see on the (10th?).
I wouldn't be worried, AoE2DE went off without a hitch and the UI screenshots look exactly like any other PC RTS.
It wouldn't surprise me if it comes to the Xbox, Microsoft has been pushing for platform integration and better keyboard and mouse support for their console. That said, they release literally all of their "gaming" news on their Xbox accounts including pc related news. I wouldn't read too much into it.
While even in guidelines its stated, that if you are banned for cheats, you should be banned from all relic games. I'm sure they are not doing it, but I still belive that if you are proven to be guildy in the past and if you are proven to be in a situation such as this one, it should justify another ban on all accs you were playing.
I imagine this is going to be a big deal when AoE4 comes out and a bunch of people are banned. They are addressing it in CoH2 to prepare for the new release.
So yes, Dbmb tried to argue that he wasn't hacking and just had game sense etc etc, but he had a history of hacking AND was directly tied to an account that was actively discussing writing a hack for COH2. The cases are quite different.
Really? Because to me that sounds super similar to the Deadbolt situation; directly tied to an account with a history of maphacking.
