Its basical omly grens, assgrens are possible but harder to play, also 1 stromy but its very hard to play. For the same cost of a Stormtropper you get a sniper and he cost less micro.
Yeah I think you missed the window of opportunity on this response lol. CoH 3 has been out for a bit now.
From what I heard in the other thread, the future isn't perhaps as bright as it seemed at first glance, but I agree with you that it's a major disservice to Relic say that CoH 3 didn't improve on the formula from CoH 2.
Ever since the multiplayer beta, I enjoyed CoH 3. The major stumbling blocks for me were always the slow balance updates and lack of content in general.
On a more serious note, they really should tinker with the icons so that what they're representing is a bit more obvious. Also, I think it might make sense for there to be a "simple" and "normal" mode for unit buff icons that you could toggle by holding shift or ctrl or something.
I.E. in simple mode there are 3 icons. One for attack, one for defense, one for utility.
So basically you don't care that much about information, you just want it to look nice, even at the cost of game knowledge? I think you could probably make a mod that just straight up turns buff icons transparent if that's what you want. Lol.
as long as relic will refuse to accept resource inflation being main driving factor of imbalance between 1s and 2s and larger team games, there will never be balance there.
Point of information;
Isn't the recent addition of a choice between call-ins and building from tech (for certain doctrinal units) indicative that they are attempting to address exactly what you're saying? Or at least that they're aware of this issue and trying different solutions for it?
