The thing that confuses me with the changes they made to the ML-20 is the shot count...
Lefe artillery - 6 shots to 10 shots (ok fair enough)
ML20 - 4 shots - 8 shots +2 with vet 1 (whats the point of adding the +2?)
Its better than the Lefe, while not as accurate its damage is just abit nuts at the moment, can be devastating in 1v1s.
Lets not forget commanders should be used to AUGMENT your force, not BE your force. I feel the ML20 kind of oversteps that mark when it starts blowing up all the OKW trucks.
Suggested fix: Lower its damage vs buildings (including OKW trucks).
OR move to 10cp.

Honestly what id like to do is make BOTH the ML20 and the Lefe Artillery cost 450mp and 60 fuel. with a slight health buff so the GUN (not the crew) can survive 1 direct Stukka/IL2 bombing strike by like 5% hp. |

Elite infantry (Falshims,Obersoldaten,Jagerlights,Panzerfusiliers) The HMG34 can be useful too.
The Kubel wagon is good for the start but has a small window.
Open with build order: Volks, Kubel, Sturmpios, Volks, volks. and try to use LOS to get your sturms close in the early game. (can win a few engagements for you)
Going the medic truck for the field gun is usually a good idea, especially if you go scavenge doctrine. (JagdP4 + Ostwind gives you a good option for both AT and AI).
DONT forget some raketenwerfers around the 6-7 min mark.
I wouldn't recommend the light vehicle truck in a 2v2 unless the map has lots of choke/los points (like Ettlebruck station) in which case an early stukka would be good. But since USF dont generally have lots of weapon teams and when the rifle blob get zooks the flacktrack wont be able to put up much of a fight.
Field gun gives you a unit that will last most of the game and the JP4 will be an option to answer shermans. |

OKW does have some ways to go but the PIV is absolutely not overpriced, it's extremely efficient and it's vet make it an absolute terror. JLI are quit good and Fallsch and Obers need some cost reduction but other than that elite infantry OKW is lookin' good.
Massing shreks now is really silly, your better off spamming mines and other upgrades because shrek's aint going to save your ass versus a T-70 our quad mount. Mines always save your ass (if he's sitting on it because he's detected it shoot the mine with something).
Volks really need love IMO, they just don't really serve a purposes. But other than things are really looking up.
Like i said the P4 is good, but its not worth 135 fuel. Better to just save 40 fuel more for a panther, and survive 6 shots from the SU85 than 4.
Essentially you are paying 60 extra fuel for the armor skirts.
In terms of income per minute... Ostheer Elite troops could vet a P4 twice to vet 2 (to have skirts) for the same fuel per min as an OKW p4 can be called in. Having the skirts but without the vet. |
I dont know what to make of OKW to be honest, I play them alot, and sometimes things go well, and other times they just seem to struggle.
I think the elite infantry is overpriced for what it does essentially. (Falshims, Obers and Jager Light infantry) All suffer too often from 1 shots, and they're not really worth their cost initially in combat performance.
I dont like the way they're forced to mass shrek squads. (missing an AI option on their core infantry).
SOME vehicles are overpriced for performance such as the P4. (its good, but not 135 OKW fuel good).
I also think the HMG should be swapped with the Kubel. OKW have no reliable way of halting blobs. (Kubel dies too fast vs a blob).
With the changes to the ML-20 in the last patch, i also feel they are kinda pushed off the field too easily now, The soviet artillery kills the trucks a little too fast and easy.
The issue here i guess is OKW has no answer to artillery pieces. (even the scavenge artillery for 180 mp doesnt always kill it). Since its super inaccurate and 180 ammo for OKW is alot to spend on a maybe... And then they still have to get sight.
It just feels like a faction with alot missing.

Make Quad upgrade 60 muni, 30 fuel, then it is fair, as cost comparing with OKW and US HT.
Best idea yet, then people can still use it to reinforce before this upgrade. |

Why the hell would i play a 2v2? There are way too many factors. Then i gotta make sure one of my m8s is willing to play.

I dont know why people complain about the TWP of the Stug after the patch...
It got a range nerf meaning its less of a threat, and cannot realistically shoot at tanks without taking return fire. |
5 MP40's for 70 ammo
or 1 shrek for 90 ammo
Id be happy with them two as options. |
Its a toughie, basically relic need to change their shot blockers to have tiers...
E.g
Teir 1 - Buildings
Tier 2 - Trees
Teir 3 - Fenses, signposts ect...
And basically set things like the Stiger to Tier 2 and 3 maybe?
