New ost teching is T1, T2, T3 or 130 FUEL GAP T4.
HOW does a 130 fuel difference = T3 or T4? Its T3 to survive the midgame. And T4 is yet again out of reach.
The reason Soviet tech is T1 or T2 is because they start off with 50 fuel so they can get either...

Problem is i dont even think these changes make it selective... They kill Ost T4 like it used to be.
Go T3 and have access to P4, stuG and Ost... or wait another 130 fuel for T4? and THEN have to save up 175 for a panther? who in a 1v1 or 2v2 is gonna do that? when they could of had 2 P4's on the field by the time 1 panther arrives. |

If you're talking about T3 level armor, then you need to subtract BP3 and T4 costs from wehr.
You will NOT go T3 and T4 anymore, you have easier way to go T4, you have a choice.

OKW tech costs are cheaper than all other factions, however probably to counter the fact that their tanks are alot more expencive. The cost of the new P4 in their tech tree may be a deciding factor to the outcome of this.
USF are the second cheapest. However their vehicles are not as expensive as OKW and an issue here would be the arrival of US tanks too early. (OKW at least have timers on their trucks).
Soviet, Pretty happy with these costs. Its nice that finally they will have to build T3 rather than rushing out a Katyusha within 12 mins.
Wehrmacht... Now this here is probably the issue. 310 fuel is ALOT higher than any of the other factions, and Wehrmacht cannot realistically skip a teir in a close game (1v1 or 2v2) Unlike the soviets or USF or OKW. I fail to see the point of decreasing the Battle phase costs by 5, to increase building costs by 50...
Meaning they are nearly 100 fuel more expensive to tech than any other faction.

That argument has at least two logical flaws:
- The first simple one is that the Sith aren't nearly as bad as the Nazis were. Aside from Annikin's killing of the kids we don't actually know of anything particularly bad that they do. (As opposed to industrial death camps, mass slave labor, and the subjugation of entire countries and all that which the Nazis did.)
The sith are just as bad as the nazi's were... if not worse... Pretty sure the wiping out of entire planets is abit of a step further than just targeting jews.

MOST IMPORTANTLY: This is not good for the game. It means that people who come to COH2 to play Allies are discouraged from staying while those who come to play Axis or don't care are encouraged to play only axis. How is that good?
How does no waiting times in ques discourage people?
Last week there are almost 3 x player-games (games x players) playing 3v3 and 4v4 (33100) than playing 1v1 and 2v2 (12866) and that is despite the pain allied players experience and the waits axis players must endure. The least played format, 3v3, had 60% of the 1v1 and 2v2 total compbined.
Meaning people prefer the look of tigers than the ass ugly sherman.
Considering how much of the matchmaking problems come from the low player base, how does driving away ANY players help the game?
I dont see why this would be driving anyone away. Either have cool looking tanks and uniforms, or short wait times. Both sides are good. Soviets are arguably the strongest faction atm.
Fix 4v4 some and more will stay. Do it well and you will also make for a better 3v3 and probably 2v2 experience. I would bet 1v1s could stay the same, maybe even improve because if you fix the things that allow an OKW to abuse in 4v4 you can probably give it more tools to use in 1v1.
Lol first off... OKW are probably the weakest faction in 1v1, since they have the worst early game base infantry and resource income disadvantage doesn't even NEARLY pay off because of the amount of QQ about this faction which has seen them nerfed into the ground. The fact you dont realise how bad OKW are in 1v1 and think even there theyre "OP" just shows how clueless you are about balance in this game.
No doubt there will will be Axis fanbois tears.

How is the plane getting shot down balancing it? If anything thatll make it useless becausw almost every German tank has a pintle mounted mg and okw base defense. Honestly its not even a broken ability, i dont remember the stats, but doesnt it only allow tanks to take one less hit to be destroyed?
No... it increases all damage done against its target by 50% (maybe more tbh) and keeps sight on it.
Basically jacksons can 4 shot a tiger with this ability... So if you have 2 jacksons, before the tiger can even reverse its dead.
Also pairing this ability with the USF rocket aircraft is also pretty much a guaranteed dead heavy tank.
On its own, with its T34/85s (say in a 1v1) its not tooooo bad. But when paired with Jacksons/SU85/ISU152/Rocket airstrike, this ability is just too much. |
Id like it made so when the aircraft is shot dowm... the effect stops... currently it doesnt.
