THIS is the one that comes with the commander. There is no flak 88... Well it could still be quite handy in building round ur trucks keeping light vehicles away and shredding blobs,sovs particularly would have trouble against it as they lack bazookas to qiuickly take it out...however if it costs fuel like the PE flakverling it will be completely useless. Other thing to consider is if it will die to 1 satchel like bunker. I still have hope for the 88 mm,lets wait for the other commanders.There will be one german commander with SP hummel/wespe at least. Overall luftwaffe seems to be a good infantry centric defensive commander.Multipurpose eplacemnts,good infantry,machine guns,trenches and that airborne assault could be very useful in reinforcing ur strength when ur truck is under attack while also providing off map firepower. You are not comparing apples to apples. Simple as that. Performance is independent of cost. If the Panther was a single call in for the same price as a T34/85 it would win every time. Because its a superior unit. Simple as that. But its not,when comparing units..u can't ignore their price as cost effectiveness is probably THE most imp aspect of an unit's utility.How t-34/85 has same HP as panther at 175 fuel is beyond me. From remembering the video, I noticed that kubels do suppress quickly enough but they take huge damage if the enemy fires first: In my view whether luftwaffe doctrine is great or not will depend on - 1)How good fallschirmjaegers are. 2) How useful is mg 34. 3)If that 'flak emplacemnet' means the 88 mm.This is the biggest factor as it would give this a lategame AT option.iF 88 MM cost just mp like pak 43 it would be very popular as OKW have fuel scarcity and camping around truck is ideally suited for an emplacemnt like that..think british 17 pounder. 4)Trenches could be useful in camping around trucks. 5)If valiant assault is more than just move faster. AIrborne assualt is mediocre ability as it can't be used solo like an off map ability,as that will lead to destruction of the follow up fallschirmjager squad-so it actually doesn't have a offmap ability. No idea,my guess is OKW needs to keep trucks on forward positions.Between zis with barrage plus anti vehicle ability,maxims ability to walk up and suppress inf and satchels doing huge dmg to trucks..even leaving aside cars ,most probably they get overrun ....trucks don't survive soviet assault.Once trucks are gone economy collapses,gg.My guess purely. T-34/85 is so fast it'll close range instantly,if u managed to kite t-34/85s with panther plz show. Pen is not really as imp vs mediums since panther's pen was good even before. And armour is useless once the second t-34 flanks u or he just uses mark target. Panther has NO ai.T-34/85 2-3 shots squads and at guns.Panther has no chance vs t-34/85.U can get it earlier/cheaper and not only be better at AI but also AT. When a unit that costs 175 fuel is same health as that costs 130 fuel,and when building that unit takes 400 fuel while u can get 2 of the other for less than 300 fuel....well. In: COH2 Balance
