Ettelbruck worst map..too crowded mg spam and artyfest.Difficult to even use tanks.
City 17-north spawn on the right has 3-4 large buildings on overlooking fuel and vp..whereas south spawn has 1.Vs soviet maximspam its impossible once they stick it in multiple mgs.Ur mg 42 in buildings can't match..its auto fuel and vp for soviet on right side in north spawn.
blizzard fires plz just token mp cost-10mp.larger radius.Very laggy.
ROSTOV map-southspawn advantage.2 buildings overlooking crossing points into the city from the north..early maxim or sometimes even mg 42 and nortn side is blocked off.Northspawn is suicide vs good team.The north side's fuel shouldn't be on the otehr side of the crossing..they take fuel and its done.Applies for all factions.
Trois point - Mid VP shouldn't be on island.Should make a smaller seperate island in the middle instead.Very easy northspawn.Especially 1 mg can lock down cemetary in north spawn..due to stone entrance.This combined with both vps on this side makes north superior.

Unit cost me more matches than any other...came in,in many cases as ostheer couldn't do anything after a while as they creep-OKW atleast has jagdtiger as counter...after nerf they took away both pak 43 and elefant for ostheer....just ridiculous.Basically i consider every ISU user as cheap noob,even if they win its zero credit.ZERO. |

T34/76s don't scale very well late game. I make them everytime, but as conscripts are now useless and grens are spammed in each game, the disproportion in ATnades/Faust makes middle tanks a micro intensive nuisance, with 5 o 6 gren squads swarming the map, volks with schrecks, ATguns, etc
Even if the game is going my way, I never do more than 2 T34/76, just for supporting ATguns and occasionally flanking Stukas,and then start saving fuel for the ISU-152
When u go t-34 spam its a gambit,u should spam t-34s when u have achieved an early game fuel advantage as the Op stated instead of waiting for call-ins.Spam -once u reach a critical mass of 3..start hit and run all over the map.Don't try to charge the volks blob.This is a very good strategy for allies that can finish the game mid game.Otherwise ISU/IS-2 with jacksons are best bet lategame.The is-2 is a very good tank lategame because its armor is insane.Jacksons are weak under 2.Once u get 2-3 jacksons they become very fearful.
Many games i see allied players not pushing enough even with fuel advantage.They prefer the old fashioned zis-maxim crawl.The american blob overextends itself and takes losses.T-34s get seperated and taken out by paks or volks shrecks.But in games where we had to face shermans and t-34s at a steady rate(later replacing losses with call ins)we were in quite a bit of trouble..as the OKW partners can't keep up in teh armorspam race and will have no armor tillpanther/jagd and ost players are left with pz 4s at a numerical disadvanatge.They rely on close co-operation with the volks blob or pak to survive.Here allied players often don't coordinate. |
Remove pack up time ...main problem..doesn't have enough survivability to take hits.Does excellent dmg ..so set up time is good.. |
145 is fair 160 is waaay overpriced.Or keep it 135,pz 4 115-120,panther 155-160.Fix call ins problem. |
This often happens because allied players wait for the callins..many times i see matches end because once allies had map control they used that to spam t-34s and shermans in hit and run all over the map...focusing on wehr players especially and avoiding the shreck blob,left to be dealt with infantry-shocks or rifles.Whenever a game finishes in mid stage this is how it usually happens early stock armor spam.3 vs3 and 4 vs 4 ofc.1 vs1 and 2 vs 2 allies supremacy-particularly soviets. |
Here is the root of the problem with call-in cost effectiveness:
Once you have the cps, you can get your 1st (and every following) easy8 for, if i remember right, 350mp/135f. Meanwhile, to get your 1st p4, you must spend 400mp/100f to tech, and build a 160mp/25f building, and then 350/125f for the p4.
So, the 1st P4 costs 910mp/250f! What would justify that kind of investment? What are we getting for that extra 560mp/115f? Does the p4 come out significantly earlier than 9cp? No, certainly not 560/115 worth earlier. Is the access to stugs, ostwinds, the flame upgrade to HT, worth 560mp/115f ? No. Is the p4's performance worth the extra 560mp/115f? Fuck No.
In fact, your 1st p4 costs nearly as much as 2 easy8s. So lets consider the price differences of 2 easy8s compared to 2 p4s:
2x easy8: 700mp/270f
2x p4: 1260mp/375f (down to 630/187 each)
This is exactly why most ostheer players dont bother teching to t3, just bank that 910mp/250f, and spend it on a tiger...which, by comparison, is much more worth the cost.
My suggested solution: make the cooldown on call-in tanks like 5-7minutes. That way, all the investment cost of teching/buildings gets some inherent value - the ability to build tanks as soon as you have the resources (instead of being limited by the cooldown).
5-7 minutes mean nothing to that cost difference. |
dps wise the p4 is better than the Ez8 due to ~ 1 sec faster reload. If Rng is on your side and all shots of the p4 penetrate (~50% chance front armor, 100% rear armor) p4 will win.
