Let us trade in our duplicates for stuff we do want or give us a choice after games. I won a cluster of 4 commanders I already own, so it might be a long time until I get one I can use. I wish I could have bought some Ost ones before they locked it, probably could have got what I wanted with 6 euros in a steam sale. In: Lobby
Thread: Purpose of Thompson vehicle crews11 Jul 2014, 18:16 PM You can't upgrade the bazooka crew I don't think. What I found is that these units have very low target priority so if you are in an engagement with rifles support the crew can walk up and massacre. They do insane damage. Of course if your opponent targets your crew then they will die very fast. You might be able to use them in vehicles to circle around paks and hop out, I think they will kill the gunners before they can turn around. Very situational of course, better get a MG on the sherman, HE shells dont work at all. If you have thompson crew running around as infantry (you replaced them with RE), then they should be good at repairing support weapons I suppose. In: COH2 Gameplay

As long as you keep your armour alive things will start to snowball and you can defeat any armour the Germans throw at you. Thanks to the resource scarcity of OKW you should be able to field far more tanks than the germans so long as you keep your armour alive. The Stuart is also good for stunning other tanks so your Jackson can hit it. I've stunned and critted Elefants and Tigers from the front but I think the shot has to pen for the ability to work, so it's risky. I think Priest and Scott may also be able to Crew Shock if they hit, at least kill repairing pios. In: COH2 Gameplay

But, if you won all your placement matches and you are playing AT with 2 CoH1 experienced players then you are already better than half the playerbase. It does factor in arranged team vs random team I think. So you may be playing vs 2 random players who are curently higher skill than you, but you are penalised a bit for being arranged team. Thread: matchmaking5 Jul 2014, 13:09 PM Have you tried custom games? e.g. title them rank 80 or below, so you will get relatively new players for more fun. I'm not sure how active the custom games are but this worked in dow2 which had similar issues. You can also play other game modes 3v3s and 4v4s. Anything to keep getting enjoyment whilst still learning. In: Lobby
