1. Pg carry assault rifles. These are not cc weapons. They are mid range weapons.
2. As long as you can double shrek them they are a balance issue if you buff their armor.
3. Pg spam with armor and shrecks is bad for the game.
4. They have a bundle nade and are for flanking not making the core of your army.
5. There are also doctorine that place them in armoured vehicles so you also have to consider that as well.
You have to think differently about pg. they are a flexible option for the ost. You only need one squad to supplement your core infantry maybe two.. They are used for tank hunting, at gun hunting or support weapon hunting. Use them in conjunction with superior german tanks and smoke. They are not for the human wave doctorine....... |
For the love of god l2p and adapt. So sick people wanting to buff german units for no reason at all.
1. Germans have rifle nade to kill soviet sniper teams.
2. Germans have more accurate mortars to kill sniper teams.
3. Gemans have p2w commander that only the most gutless sack of shit players exploit.
4. If the german player is a complete peice of shit he will vet up his mortor with the p2w commander or vet his sniper and use the special shot.
You cannot compare sniper versus sniper in coh2. The game is not symmetrical. So stop trying to take the Germans back to hold my hand daddy while I play mode. The Germans are finally coming to a point where respectable players can use the faction and feel like an asshole for using overpowered bullshit and getting free wins when you do not deserve them.

Guards are joke right now. Which is sad because I really want to use them. Basically guards are like a vanilla gren squad. 4 man long range ai squad. The two ptrs are just cannon fodder waiting to die and drop their gun, which I like then they become 6 man ai sqaud when reinforced.
The ptrs is too short ranged and takes to long to aim. It works great at killing light vehicles and surprisingly enough against stugs and assault guns when playing noobs who rush their units to far ahead. But once you drop your weapons your screwed, you don't get them back. |
P2w commanders and abysmal balance chased most of the community away.. Oh yeah, no lobby for custom annihilation matches burned a lot of players too. I am no sure what idiot at relic decided to remove one of the things that made the game great. |
Officer gives double range on your arty/rockets/mortars and bypasses the cool down. So you can normally fire your arty and then use the officer to fire it again. It also gives better accuracy. One of the best german units in the game.
Works great with nebelwerfers or howitzers. |

Seriously stop crying because soviets are kicking ass. Last patch forced soviet players to become better at micro and unit preservation. Now the game is balanced and guess what? Soviet players are better now and you are starting to realize how bad that steaming pile of horse dung patch was before.
You should have been playing soviets like the rest of us sharpening your skills instead of exploiting one of the most unbalanced patches I have ever seen in the coh franchise. Relic even gave you a p2w german doctorine as a cherry on top too.
I have now switched to Germany because it is my favorite faction and I don't have to feel like an asshole for using a overpowered hold my hand faction anymore. I can once again be proud to be a german player. Now if only relic would fix the p2w commander so that I can use the tiger ace....

I think rifle nade is the only thing left that empowers the grenspam. If they tone it down a bit you will see less gren spam. 4 Grens can launch 4 rifle nades for dirt cheap. That means two soviet squad wipes with no risk to the Grens. Throw in long rage fire power of the Grens to Finnish off any survivors. |
Get rid of troop training then tone down squad wipes from mines. Until then Germans need to fear losing their investment from mines if they do not use detectors. Only real counter to the p2w abuse other than being insanely better than your opponent. |
Leave the mines alone. Soviets have enough issues with players abusing the pay to win commander troop training. As long as assholes can keep exploiting this bullshit doctorine the risk of squad wipes from mines needs to haunt them.
Build a mine sweeper just like soviets countering s mine spam. |
Most people who talk about buying vet in coh1 never even played the game. You had to have vet 2 on your grenadiers to equal the allied doctrinal troops.
If you had vet 3 infantry you already won the game or you were really stupid and did not tech up and lost the game because all you did was buy vet.
Let me also remind you that the Germans did not get any vet from killing units. Unlike p2w commander where you buy and receive extra vet from fighting.
If you could only buy vet then maybe the doctrine would balance but as of now some bodies daddy runs relic and he was allowed to make his uber p2w commander and have it in the game. And now every player who needs a crutch to help them win games has it in their lineup.
