I don't get why you'd give a fast tank such low accuracy on the move.
I'd rather it hit once in a while on the move, even if they have to lower the damage for balance than to have this fast, fun to play with tank, that can't hit shit on the move.
What is this unit's role supposed to be currently? If I'm using it wrong, I'd like to know. I don't see any benefit over a normal Sherman if you want to press the advantage and kill some inf whilst not being totally useless vs a PzIV, and compared to a late game Jackson/Scott lolacoaster of a build, it's total crap.

But... Its accuracy is above average? It has the same on the move accuracy as the other usf vehicles, which means its pretty good.
The reason why its so shit is because it has 640hp and 160 armor with standard 40 range. You will have to expose yourself to enemy fire because of standard range, and you have no chance to deflect at gun shots meaning you will die to 4 shots every time. At this point its better to get 75mm with its potent HE shells and cover it with jackson.
76mm is pointless. I suggest doing what top players are doing and ignore 76mm existence.

Yeah, it seems hopeless. I like fast, mobile units because they fit my playstyle, COH2 used to have more of these I feel like. T34s were once good in this role, nowadays everything is based on fighting at range, it does suck and I don't like playing the game anymore the way you need to play it to win...Oh wells.

I think it's pretty good with the AP rounds. The regular Sherman struggles with anything heavier than an OKW p4, I find The m4c is better against Panthers , brumbarr, etc.
It's definitely not the US best option, but they aren't bad.

it's a better AT sherman, it has same accuracy with base rounds but even better accuracy than sherman with AP rounds
the ap rounds have better pen than a stug, i don't see why u wouldn't want p4/stug hybrid that with a button to switch modes

HVAP shells have TD accuracy and higher pen than any other sub premium medium ingame. At 130(?) fuel, HVAP with TD accuracy and 165 max range pen? Sign me up. USF is noteably the most cost efficient tank to kill power ingame, but you cannot deter infront of AT guns like you can with certain other tanks.
Although there is a problem with the 76 not having a designated role because HE sherman shells OP and jackson OP. Both AT and AI get cover very well. So yes it lacks well defined roll.

This unit just feels so damn weird when the normal Sherman is better in the AI department, the Jackson is (much) better in the AT department and the Sherman E8 is just completely superior compared to it.
Wish they had just replaced it with the E8 straight away (and therefore add dozer blades to Rifle Company as well)

u know if u are soo much bothered by the realod u could use the normal shoot vs p4 , u pen less but shoot faster (still better than the p4, more pen and faster reload), i would prefer the AP round for consistency (more accuracy and pen) for 0.5 more sec reload than p4

It's normal shells reload really fast though, and still have pretty decent pen.
Slightly offtopic but I wish e8 was better/in a better commander though.

It's pretty good in 1vs1 to smash armor in groups, main weakness is that a 720 HP HE Sherman is better AI with Jacksons being better AT, it's not a bad unit but why go for a glass cannon when the 1-1-1 USF Major Tier is way more well rounded?

If jacksOPns werent as good at they are, both, S76 and even E8 could be either buffed or become used more in the current revamped USF.
S76 is not bad, just there are better options (but expensive) to deal with axis armor.

Dont buff (axis tank) because panther is good enough.
Imo i think 76 sherman is ok.

P4s so weak, both axis faction field them in every single game.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.
