Check coh2chart again in 2 weeks, so that the winning rate stabilise again.

Players need time to adapt and discover the next-best cheese to abuse.

The factions that were buffed always experience a surge in win-rates for the first few weeks. Then, the matching algorithm will adapt, and people will be matched evenly again. Then, winrates will probably look the same like before.

coh2chart is an OK representation of balance. However, it's the best representation of how fast ELO ranks adjust after a patch.

It seem to affect all modes of play, random and arranged. Hoping the curves stabilize quickly.

When there is smoke, we "could" have a fire, so let's be cautious.

Thx for all your efforts by the way.

P.s: May the meta be fair for us all !

Would there be any way to limit the search to top 250 vs top 250?

You can.

It doesn't specify whether it is one side ranked <250 or both. Does anyone know for sure?

That would be a lot of matches between <250 ranked people every day if it was both teams ranked that low though.

It's all matches that somebody/a team in e.g. the top 250 does, regardless of the rank of the opponent.

Edit: You might want to check out this post for more details.

Pretty simple all boosted "only ally" player now play with a balanced faction and have to fight people with better skills so they lose, wait a week or 2 when they get to their rightful place then we talk some shit happen when ally were really super op (like Brits) cause coh2 ranked match making
has different elo for each faction so they get match not with player with equal skill but equal win with different faction

TBH top250 doesn't tell much.

Top30 or top50 at least would say a bit more, but just for the sake of N° sample, leave it at top100.

A)1-100, B)100-250 and C)250+.

A) I want the data of those who knows how to abuse
B) I want the data of those who are still adapting
C) " " " who just play.

That been said, this was expected. While a little higher on 2v2+, let's see how it devolves over the next weeks.

Here it is: +500 rank 1vs1 (arf it doesn't keep the selection)
People are not cheating and the gap is increasing...

It looks quite healthy to this point - the chart is just a typical feedback chart of system under regulation under changing conditions. Lets just hope it's a negative feedback, not a positive one, as it can't be seen from the graph at the moment.

It's literally only one data point.

1. Patch just comes out
2. People want to try out the buffed factions, nobody wants to test out nerfs
3. All the good players who came back because of the patch play axis and wreck all the normal players still playing allies

Give it a couple weeks to stabilize. The data pulled with barely any direction, you can't make any real conclusions based on it. Anything from coh2chart is just theory crafting.

How can you read anything out of this chart, except that OKW is the most popular faction right now? It doesnt say nothing about balance, since it doesnt show the win rate of any faction. I remember the time when Allies were broken and still people played Ost, so I dont know if this necessarily means that the axis are more powerful right now...

Ah yes now that almost all allied factions (looking at you Brits) have been towed back into line, people actually have to use their brain instead of a-move their overpowered nonsense across the map.

Give it a week or two, they will get those brains activated again.

Only the good players came back to try Axis? I was just saying that where nobody use cheesy strat, axis was already dominating and with the patch it is going to be even more.

Heh, the last time I heard the "wait and see" defense was when Relic fucked up the pop cap costs on everything and brits were borderline unplayable.

It'll balance up when the patches start including fixes and move out of nerf-phase. Hopefully. I'm still seeing a lot of stuff that just doesn't work.

Guys.

Just, literally, zoom out the chart so that you can see what happens everytime another patches hit. e.g., allied factions got buffed around July 2016, winrates went berserk for the allies for 2 weeks. Then, 2 weeks later the winrate stabilized to about the same ratios as before.

It's literally the same thing every single time.
