So here is a thing.
If you go Mech HQ, you have access to all sweetness of OKW but no healing.
If you go Med HQ, you have healing and nothing else + you must rely on raketens only.

But what if we swapped Puma with 251/17?

Med HQ would gain access to light AT vehicles while Mech HQ would remain shock-value tier with Luchs.

More or less it would be Luchs or Puma, depends what you need more and because of Luchs, Med HQ probably woulnd't overshadow Mech HQ.

Right now Med HQ is way to much vunerable to vehicles imo.

It sounds like a decent idea.

However, would you ever waste your fuel on the 251/17 if you put it side-by-side to the Luchs? Especially on a tech tier that gives you no access to fuel-free units.

I don't know the answer to OKW teching woes though :3

Yeaaahhhhhhhhh, I was going to say, whatever we do - buff 251/17.

Anyone uses 251/17 now? Don't think so :P Tho it could be cheaper, like 40F when in Mech HQ.

Better do what Miragefla suggested. Buff AA halftrack.

Give it better penetration so it could fight back tT70 a bit.
May be a bit increase its armor and HP.

Thats it

PS and same for Wehrmacht HT buff armor to 20-25 same as for M5.

Why don't just swap Pz.II. and AA HT? Having 2 AI units and a rocket arillery in a building is a dead tech. Unless you will micro and take care of those poor raketens. For me Having the Luchs in the Battlegroup instead of AA HT is a better choice since if you go mech hq you'll still get AI and AT units + repair, but BGHQ wouldn't mean insta death in 1s for OKW as it would give you healing + AI capabilities + limited AT. You can pretty much chop off half health of a T-70/Stuart if it comes into close range for faust + few pen from luchs. And a raketen won't hurt.

It can be argued 251/17 has better synergy with t2 as a suppression platform with infantry and weapon team play so why move it, buffing it is better atleast it may be able to see some play.

Thats why I suggested buffing SP Med Kits in another thread - would at least give you better half-assed healing if you go Mech.

What if they they made Puma side tech like AEC? One Truck + Side Tech = Puma? That way you can make the conscious decision to invest in Puma as a AT Stopgap or not.

Yeah I think they should make it as vet 0 ability and with 50% decreased price (20 ammo)

No. Puma in mech is important because it allows for mech heavy builds when necessary. Losing the puma would make this impossible, since half tge strength of a mech heavy build is mobile at.

If you need healing with t2, just use pio medikits. I do believe that the medikits may need to be vet 0 though, maybe.

The flak track is fine where it is, it just needs a pen buff and possibly a slight hp buff to 400. I get use out of it as is anyways with Goliath commander.

Move IR halftrack to Overwatch Doctrine and replace with regular 251 halftrack imo.

Jadpanzer should be in the battleground (medic) headquarters with a price increase to compensate

That would be a good buff that would help get OKW back on their feet during early-mid game. If that was added, it would make the aa half track worth it's fuel cost.

But we are already like a year since it's quite useless and nothing changes so it's time to look for other ways. I mean, it takes Relic close to a month to switch 81mm mortart for 60mm which was tested so how lon we should wait fot 251/17 buff? ANother year?

Also the 2cm flak fix too please, that thing just loves to shoot at grounds. Maybe med HQ give SP ability to build 2cm flak too? Or locked AAHT behind medic upgrade but buffed its effectiveness too?

I must object to the Pumma swap, as Comm_ash mentioned it would destroy tech heavy builds.

Moving the Pumma is a band aid, what is needed is making the Puppchen more reliable instead of hitting the ground with every opening shot.

Increasing the raketen accuracy and somehow stopping it from being one shoted by AOE fire would be an actual fix
