i think a good buff to the ptrs Accuracy on cons will make it useful again. they ALWAYS miss and when they hit there weak anyways just please buff these

Only 1 thing can make it useful at all - making it non-doctrinal. PTRS is definitely not top-AT in game, it doesn't destroy middle tanks in 4-5 shots (like schrecks do), it doesn't insta-shooting, requiers time to aim, but still - it is doctrinal, while M9s, Schrecks and PIATs are not. I just doesn't make any sense.

Since penals going to be buffed I see no problems in turning cons from "osstrupen-type mainline infantry" to "light-AT support unit". Penals will be good for AI purpouses, Cons - for AT with rifles and nades. It will be pretty fair and will help to make a progress in soviet "tier diversity". T1 provides you absolutely NO AT! Nothing! From T2 you are able to get AI Maxim and AT ZiS-3. Make PTRSs unlockable with T1 building for Cons, make it cost more (80 - 100 ammo per 2 PTRS, like PIATs) and you will see - T1 will become same popular, as T2, maybe even more! And soviet will suck less from early Luchs raids or 222 spam.

Btw, about topic - accuracy is fine, if we talk about AT-accuracy. PTRS should not be very good against infantry. Just simply between "normal" and "good". Or "bad" and "normal".

PTRS are AT guns, they do that job quite well.

also, they are really cheap, I can't see the problem here.

Tank hunter commander is VERY good right now, and it will be even better with the new changes.

Con PTRS is a joke. The only time Dank Hunters has been a good doctrine was when people realized the PTRS prioritized weapon teams over the crew.

Tommy BOYS are incomparably better actually.

Tommy buys are using guards PTRS stats.

Conscript PTRS use blowdart stats and is about as effective.

You can just cut out the middleman and say that Conscripts are not that good.

At least Soviets won't be as commander reliant if the Penal, T-34 and SU-85 buffs in the preview patch make it into the main game so you could get away with using shit commanders.

cons ptrs vs inf should be atleast decent its horrible... its a at sniper u dont think u can hit a person with a sniper?. its needs old dmg back and acc. but dont break guns so much

You guys are simply using them wrong.

2 cons with PTRS+assault nades+ AT nades = 75% of KT health in 2 seconds.

also, you can plant those light AT mines everywhere making axis life a living hell.

KT have to stay afk during double assault nades, which rarely happen

Or you just save all that muni for PTAB, which is the best off-map available to SU. I only pick this commander for 4v4 slugfest where there's tons of vehicle wreck to salvage and you can float muni to spam PTAB on Axis tank blob.

first off im talking about Con ptrs vs inf so how tf u even start talking about tanks, second assault nades are only good vs noobs who try to smash u or just chill in front of u for a good 5 seconds, ive never made it work vs someone my skill. upgrading ur cons ptrs should make its dps rise not fall vs inf either way. its a mixture of anti personal and tanks type of weapon thats why its not to strong vs tanks. theres supposed to be a middle ground and theres none

very true and im not saying make ptrs stronger vs tanks even tho they should be. atleast 5% or something but what it does vs inf is so sad. maybe if they made ptrs shoot faster it might help vs tanks and even tho it wont get a accuracy buff or dmg buff. itll make up for missed/weak shots with rate of fire idk just thinking a way to help it

they can just remove it and turn it into guards infantry instead. that would make the commander so much more viable.
