For the same reason Voltardark always thanks the opportunity to voice his opinions. Seems to be an understanding about writing etiquette.

So according to you, having different etiquette is now pretentious?

Do some history lessons.
Apparently you don't know why they were buffed in the first place.
Also, since that time, axis infantry is stronger and elite one reinforces for much less.
L2P thread, just like all the aaa ones.

USF needed something, but there were a lot of underused or underpowered unit like shermans, .50cal, m8a1, or the 57mm that could have been buffed.
Turning the riflemen into terminator just turn their meta one dimensional.

They needed infantry that scaled into late game. Not much to choose from beside buffing riflemen.
Design problem

It seems superfluous. Like saying your name after each sentence if you were having a conversation with someone.......when everyone's names are written on their foreheads XD

The grenadier had slightly better veterancy but it only require a small tweak, not the terminator veteranccy. The other problem was the weak bar and the fact the USF depended entirely on their riflemen. Everything else is either poor or mediocre.

You couldn't really compare their vet (still can't really) straight off as the two factions are designed differently. USF depend completely on their rifleme (as you say) by design, and they did not perform. If that design choice was going to be kept, they had to buff the vet simply. Not that I like it either..

Why instead of recived accuracy at vet 3 we give them 50-40% reinforce cost reduction ?Because they will still lose too many engagement lategame. The idea is that instead of having durability and reliability in the armor like most other factions. USF scales with durability in their infantry instead. And I think it is different then the way other factions scale, but it does work and shouldn't really be messed with.

USF is an infantry dependent army, and that isn't a bad thing.

Because it doesn't fix anything and we'd be back where one of most expensive squads that can NOT rely on elite infantry spam like certain other army *cough*OKW*cough* has basic infantry that gets pushed around by much cheaper squads.
