222 spam

How do I deal with 222 spam? At 15 fuel a pop it's quite possible for 3 of these things to come out very fast, long before stuart or AEC. Small arms doesn't do much to them. By the time stuart comes out, there's enough to simply kill it outright. AEC seems to just barely come in time that if you might have a chance.

The pricing on the 222 is pretty generous atm and might need to be adjusted upward a bit. Alternatively the auto-cannon could be made a muni upgrade again. That way the 222 would function similar to a m20 when first built but could then be upgraded for improved AT.

Just dont forget to put double zooks on the rear Echelon and not riflemen. Double zooks reks 222 so hard

Because relic tries to make it into some cheap ass light tank for poor people instead of giving is specific AI or AT role.

It does both, which means it sucks in both, PE 222 couldn't scratch armor on anything bigger then jeep, but ripped infantry apart. Survivality solution was also superior with HP vet scaling regardless of vet you picked.

If a 20mm autocannon cannot tear a man apart, I dunno what the hell is wrong with the weapon.

Offensive vetted 222 can rape Greyhound.

Is bazooka/ATG/Mine too difficult?

It is an absolutely piece of shit that can't kill anyone 5m in front of the cannon.

The lmg needs a massive accuracy buff though.

They are too cheap at the moment. No risk at all, even if your opponent does counter them tech is barely delayed.

Maybe buff armor to M8 one
Maybe revert hp buff
Up price to 45 fuel
...
Profit. Now wehrmacht have nice light vechicle.

45 fuel for a Luchs level autocannon would be way too strong. The 222's original problem was that it was weak as paper, now it's not. Now it's stronger and very spammable, that's a problem. But at least Wehrmacht now has more fighting options against USF/UKF light vehicles. I think the USF can handle the 222(s) with either snare + AAHT or even M20 mine + the F R E E B A Z O O K A. Or with the captain + stuart of course.

Brits will have problems with 222 spam though, since AECs are relatively expensive and brits don't have snares. And PIATs generally suck.

Whermacht doesn't need another ai light vehicle. They already have the flame halftrack.

+1, Flame Halftrack does an insane amount of damage to infantry, therefore the 222 shouldn't wreck every infantry unit like it's hitting someone with a baseball bat
