Oh, look. Super emplacements destroy the flow of the game. Told you so weeks ago with that magic power called common sense. :D

I guess the only viable tactic is to spam 222s before they can build up.

Putting 2-3 building somewhere and pressing a single button every 90 sec is not as hard as pulling of a flank with multiple tanks and infantry units.

The auto repair Engies from the FHQ die really easily so you really need to bring up REngies to keep repairing while dodging rocket strikes. It isn't as simple as pressing a button.

Sounds like people oppose strong defensive play, but love strong offensive play.

Then people turn around and complain about offensive blobbing....

Lightly quoting Relic from last stream:

"Just because few loud people don't like the playstyle, doesn't mean the playstyle should not be viable and supported by us, there is plenty of strats and counters to everything".

What else are they going to say?
"Sorry, we fucked up, but we need that P2W money so deal with it :^)"?

I have not found emplacements to be OP. They do take time to kill, but they would be completely useless if you could kill them easily; like what you see with the 2cm flak AA emplacement.

Edit: I might however change my opinion if the new commanders prove to energize too well with emplacements.

Such static game play shouldn't be in the game at all. It's annoying AND boring as f*ck to play against. Doesn't need micro, besides repairs.

Much fun, very tactics. ResidentSleeper

Playing as brits with no non-doctrinal indirect fire vs LeiG spam behind flak HQ auto reinforcing with med is just as cancerous, only now UKF players can yolo city to fight back.

Is this more of a problem in 2v2/3v3/4v4 games? I play mostly Brits in 1v1 and it seems anything outside of a mortar pit and (maybe) a forward assembly, cripples your ability to control the map. I've tried emplacement spam a handful of times and I just found myself wishing I had more mobility.

And Leig spam became a thing cos of the terminator blobs and no decent suppression tool. You can keep saying this was caused by that and going all the way back. Why stop at one level?

I played a couple axis 4v4s yesterday. A howitzer is pretty much essential. Festung Support seems tailor made for beating emplacements: mortar halftrack, offmap smoke, howitzer and sector artillery

In my first game testing out the sim city commander the opponent built four howitzers. It was annoying for sure, but didn't do shit. I just ploughed in there with a churchill and artilleried them. I lost one forward reinforce point, that's it.

Yeah and this caused UKF to be fucked vs OKW if they played a certain way, now UKF can be cancerous back, I love it, I make Helms Deep every game.

You always talk about UKF having been fucked vs OKW before this Sim City doctrine. But the stats show otherwise. I think you are living in a victim fantasy mate. I'll tune my violin for you.
