50 range tigers and axis AT options.

schrecks being extremely effective against all soviet armor, coincidentally, most soviet anti armour options are actually armored which are countered by schrecks which soviets have no considerable equivalent.

stugs are mobile AT guns that are very effective against is2. granted soviet got su85, but thats a different tier which actually costs more to tech to and buy it than a stug. a better comparison is su76, which is an excellent support unit, if not for schrecks.

tigers having 50 range means is2 will get hit 1st especially when played defensively, it also means is2 can be kited.

so it really boils down to what the is2 has to face. there is just so much more effective anti armor threats that axis can field to counter is2.

the is2 in the game already use the is2 1944 model.

It doesn't have the frontal pike. The latter 1944 model, there were three if I am correct, had the pike like the IS3 had.

1) Vet 1 IS-2 absolutly useless for heavy tank.
2) Tiger have they range buff. IS-2 his direct opponent of count this game, got nothing. Why?

Lie that IS-2 AP ammunition not "penetrating" the King Tigers or Panthers.

Report polygon number 314 of November 21, the fire was already shot and on the burning hull of the tank "Panther", and said that the 122-mm thick-headed projectile from a distance of 1200 m punched frontal armor thickness of 85 mm.
No problem with Tiger I, his forehead free struggled armor-piercing projectile with 1200-1800 m, depending on the type used projectile.

I think the IS-2 just need a range increase base like the tiger, and a vet 2 range buff +5 just like the tiger. And of course a vet ability that isn't bad.

I specifically mentioned that the HE shell was able to cause spalling damage. I did so multiple times in this thread and still you think IÂ´m portraying German tanks as invincible. IÂ´m under the impression you are an ultra nationalistic Russian fanboy. You probably think the IS-2 was the best tank of the war because you see the big gun and thick armor on paper. You arenÂ´t willing to admit any faults in the vehicle. You are so keen to depict the tank as superior that you see Krupp steel dudes everywhere. Even though IÂ´m posting right in front of your eyes that the Tigers could be defeated. Get a grip on yourself. The King Tiger could penetrate the IS-2 on all combat ranges.The IS-2 could somewhat fight back, but definitely not by "penetrating" the King Tigers or often even Panthers armor with AP ammunition for that matter.

You write strange things. The only known example of the use of HE shells is SU/ISU-152 with their six-inch howitzers. No sence use HE when you have effective AP-rounds. And IS-2 have them.

There is no such thing as the best tank. The Germans could not produce Sherman, the Yankees could not produce the T-34, and soviets could not produce Pz.4. Each did what he could. There was no such as "the best tank." As one yankees said, they were death traps. And Soviet veterans were of the same opinion. No matter IS, T-34 and T-70. All of them burned the same way.

IMHO, the real problem with IS-2 is its useless Vet1 and its accuracy vs inf, the rest is fine. But what was Relic's reason when they buffed Tiger's range?

Rework vet 1 for all soviet tanks, increase accuracy for IS-2, and adds some deflection damage for its 122mm gun, I mean 122mm gun got to have some awesome impact even without a armor penetrating!

Because the Tiger was supposed to be kind of an allrounder, but ended up as a tank that was just bad at everything. It was slow, expensive, short sighted and fragile. It is supposed to be a vulnerable but hard-hitting tank.

I don't think a range buff is necessary for IS-2 considering it has a high frontal armor compared to the Tiger. Just give it a slight accuracy bonus and if that's too good give it somewhat less aoe as a trade off.

Just increase the accuracy on the gun and we are good. Either that or lower down the reload time.
