I agree with the suggestion of double callin. It would promote new strategies and make t-34/76 usefull without any buffs to it. It would also hardcounter axis tank or stug e rushes, making it a good counterpick ability. And even 4 of them are still not that much of a deal.

As for capping, I think the ability should stay on t34/76, if it will be a spammable, double callin tank it may be widely used like ostruppen to cap points. Only problem is it needs vet 1 for it. Maybe the ability should be removed from other tanks and swapped with ram in t34? So that it doesnt need vet to cap and can be used as emergency cap callin. The ability should also stay on kv-1 as its poor gun and good armor make it great capping unit.

Cap Territory is legitimately pretty useful for T-70. Fend off a lone capper than take it back yourself. Compensate for not shooting by turning on recon mode too.

Yeah, thats another one. But that way we can come to the conclusion that the ability is universally usefull :P

I don't think people use IS-2s to hunt lone squad far behind their front lines? :p

+1 on AustralianMagic's idea to replace 85 with Double '74 call-in.

Either that or I suppose adding an "Upgun" upgrade to 74 that allows you to upgrade to 85 for a Muni and/or Fuel cost would suffice as well. For balance reasons it might be better to just upgrade the gun and not add extra HP so that the stock -85 commanders remain special.

no because it would result in soviets having a medium tank on par with the pIV. this would be better for doctrines without the 34/85 but would be a big nerf to doctrines that had it and would mean that the soviets didn't have anything short of a heavy that had a reasonable chance against Vs. also, the 34/76 would be complete shit and the soviets don't need more shit units.

It being a match for the PZIV doesn't make it a bad suggestion, also would be in tier 4 as per now.

I'm still of the opinion that Relic should've made early or mid-war and late war factions... so four factions with similar flavor upon release, yet tech and commanders would be different.
Like, a 1942 and a 1944 Wehrmach/Soviet faction on release.

This would've allowed for North Africa British/N.A. German/Italian/N.A. US factions and well as later war factions (like we have now) with OKW/UKF/USF.

But, besides the point, Relic could've (or still could) switch the flavor of commanders in general and flip them in the complete opposite. What I mean by this is have call-in medium tanks; P3 for Ostheer, T34/76 for Soviet and have non-doctrinal strong medium tanks. Instead of doctrinal heavy armor, give each faction a late game heavy tank unlocked with all tech or something, like KT or PE panthers.

It feels like Relic could've done this to change up the coh1/coh2 feel (but would they have wanted to?) but the former suggestion about factions related to time period certainly would have helped in more $$/DLC content!

T34/85 as non-doctrinal (all factions have at least one non-doc late game vehicle, except Soviets).
T34/76 as double call-in for 450MP 150F.

Done.

USA late game tanks :foreveralone:

But they at least have best infantry and early game

If you asked me this last year, I would have said 'no'. But with the steady power creep OKW, USF, and British have introduced with their mediums, Ostheer and Soviet (especially Soviet) mediums have been left behind. With the theme moving to late-war, it only makes sense for the Soviet to be using their late-war tank.

The T-34/85 could be replaced in doctrine with IS-2, except in the case of Armored Assault, but there are plenty of replacement options like the KV-1 or T-34/76 if they decide to remove it from stock.

Armored assault can get kv2

Then kv2 would be in 2 niche doctrines

War Machine was scrapped for a reason, there's no counter-play at all. Pop War Machine and suicide charge into enemy lines, the opponent is forced to either abandon everything and retreat, or risk his units fighting for zero benefit. Either way, there's nothing they can do to reduce your number of tanks for the duration, giving you free reign with no penalty.

But here is.

Mediums will be repalced with T34/76 so if he kill your is 2 you only get t 34/76 , also it will cost min 200 munnny so it wont be so OpieOP.

Its the same like saing rapid concription is OP.

None with bit of sane would suicie is2 and t34/85s to get a 1 t34/76 replacement.

This ability can be also in windustry as replacement of tank crew reapair.

Also i think in industry need to be copypaste of ostheer luftawafe drops but only can be used on fuel.

Andostheer ones need to by only on munition and it should convert fuel not mp, i realy fear weak but numberous obers into fast oswind

moving the t34-85 into the tech tree is the lazy solution.

the better solution would be to make the t34-76 actually usable.

I think T-34/76 should come earlier. T3. That is the tank of World War 2.

I really like the system from the EF mod from the first game, in which you can choose to upgrade either the T34/76 into an /85 or the SU-85 into the SU-100. I'd love to see that in CoH 2.

I vote to yes, if its be maybe 6 month ago i will be say no, but now so many changes in games, balance go to deep :D. I dont see reason now for t-34-76 be in tier with his stats. Or do upgrade for t-34-76 to be t-34-85 or add t-34-76 like writes guys in doc.

First of all both of those thanks must have good vet and stock ability. Something like "flank speed". Coz it was a fast flanking tank.

I like more idea Ambush with great pen & acc buff for first and maybe second shout. But flank speed better then cap and easy tunable then Ambush mode.
the better solution would be to make the t34-76 actually usable.

For this T-34-76 need LARGE rework. Fix ram, change stupid cap and even more.
Throw T34/76 into commander call-in 5-6 CP the easiest way.
