Given how "mixed" the reaction to this patch is, I wonder if they'll delay it until it's worked out properly?

As a brit player seeing endless nerfs with no moves to fix any of the plainly worthless stuff (e.g. arty commander) is demoralizing to say the least.

Please dont give shreck to sturmpios.

They are not meant to be panzershreck squad.

They will need to place mines , fight off ifnantry , tanks , reapir tanks and clear field defences in 1 unit ?

This can lead into 1 think - blobing.

Also it would be indirect nerf to some doctrines (feuersturm) becuase they wont allow flametrower + shreck on one squad whitch woul mean even more Spios you need.

Also no one would build voks , it will be Spio spam + psuhing kubel.

And to add on this they will vet like crazy with shreck.


Please no skreck on them , there are like milion reason why not shreck on mid range assault rifle engineer

Lower squad sizes, also do you think that those peasants deserve "good weapons" before proving their worth on the battlefield?

(Panzerschrecks on Sturmpioneers would turn late game in to Massive tank spam with Sturmpioneers repairing them and shooting AT rockets at flanking enemy armor, basically the unit would become Godlike)

I can't agree. Choosing how to upgrade and use stormpios would be one of few strategic decisions in coh2, they would either repair and fight off infantry or damage vehicles with their shrecks. Also when upgraded to shrecks the sweeper upgrade would be unavailable, so vehicles would be repaired slower if pios had those shrecks.

I still believe giving shrecks to sturms is a good idea :snfBarton:

I'm glad to see changes coming on a large scale such as with ace and industry. but salvage should go now, especially with a zero fuel kubel in the MP float faction.

Hope the community is mature enough to discuss fixes to allied faction issues that have been going on longer than the OKW. Such as tier 1 soviet it had been band aid fixed since the day of the clown car. Shouldn't be making it strictly for snipers, Penals need a serious looking at with the satchel now doing nothing and thier rifle damage/survivabikity/utility still being pretty laughable.

Even moving the 45mm AT gun into tier 1 doc would be something. Unless the Axis community wants to be upset about maxim spam till the end of time.

I definetly think that Volks should be 260 MP, Puma should have less range now that it's replaceable, and Flak HT could use some love.

Disregarding minor number changes, Overall though OKW is in a nice spot now.

I don't know if you have been talking about it, but there's a survey in game that you answer and where they ask us about giving the loved/dreaded panzerschreck to Sturmpioneers instead of Volksgrenadiers.

I think That is an improvement.

I would say, give volks x2 Panzerbüchse with same AT, AI and accuracy of PTRS performance and Pfaust unlock, for 60 ammo.

This would kill few problems:

1) Volks blobs
2) Volks shitty AI (better then before but still shity meh)
3) No insta-killing tanks

And then work on raketenwerfer and make it less shitty.

Volks would have more\less same perfomance vs light armor. Schreck is out-of-place for OKW, there is no way you can emplement it without it being OP\useless. OP on volks, useless on Sturmpio, too expensive on Obersoldaten.

Also with 100% fuel income, I would say that OKW don't need to rely on schrecks.

That wouldn't solve spam without thier cost increasing, what your describing here is the old Tank Hunter a Tactic conscript blobs. If they did get the rifles, they would need the stats that the conscript upgrade PTRS have. But an idea non the less good suggestion.

Well, then they could start with Cons PTRS performance and end up with Guards PTRS performance thought vet. The main problem is that, volks are shitty mainline inf anyway. Right know they can deliver at least some punch early on, but after Allied inf gets vetted they become total garbage.

You actually answered it urself! player invest his mp into squads as soon as he has manpower for it! that's the thing, since OKW teching is very cheap and the factions doesn't generally give u options for various support weapons such as mgs/mortars etc you build another (very cost efficient) squad (which u can upgrade it to the mighty shreck).

OKW stays broken as long as it's easy to shreck blob, or shreck has such a performance
