Can we have a minor buff to the WC51?

WC51 is lackluster in a lackluster commander, with limited utility and the rare possibility of being partially refunded. Unit needs a buff, reducing cost would just cause it to be spammed because of retrofit.


Not to mention the half track which gets melted by lmg's alone :( Relic pls.

I think it would be cool if the HT was like the british one, where it could drop weapons on the ground (zooks/BARs), and came at an appropriate time where upgrading infantry was important and effective

Again, I think the problem with going WC51 is that the rest of the commander sucks :D

Last time i checked the usf doesnt need a stronger early game. price is fine because faction differences. bloody hell compare the allied halftracks with the ost tracks and you see the allies have a clear advantage.

Its not about stronger early game in any way.

Its about DIFFERENT and VALID early game option.

The 3 rifle > LT > M20 is arguably stronger early game and much stronger for mid/late game, togheter with the open choice of going a different doctrine.

Let's not compare half tracks to each other, it's like comparing USF tanks vs axis tanks. Not to mention the USF half track is arguably worse then the Ostheer one which benefits with flame upgrade and numerous doctrinal upgrades.. So that argument doesn't make sense at all.

Improve the .50 on the WC51, make it 15 fuel, give the M3 HT the same durability as an M5 HT or maybe a bit less, and most importantly I would like to see Crew Thompsons and Refit combined into one 3 CP ability for both Mechanized and Armor Company.

There are lot of commanders that need to be adjusted in order to make it useful. This is one of them. I don't know exactly what's the best option, but buffing wc51 it's not enough to see the commander in the loadout of any decent player.

It already can do this *cough*vehicle crews*cough*.
Its also garrison vehicle, its ineffective on its own and will always have a squad inside to be useful.

And it is different and valid. the doctrine is weak however and their fore hardly used.
