Its apsurd, players have started building pak emplacments behind buildings to protect them as they can shoot through every building.

Fix asap please.


It doesnt have free "i m god" ability like brits emplacements. So people need to protect it in such way

You're kidding, right ? QF17 is shit. It misses like 50% of its shots, dies to a single incendiary grenade and costs 20 pop and 70 fuel. I'll take Pak 43 over this crap any day.

I've had games where I had to fully baby shit the pak43 because it got decrewed all the time. So no god unit. Although it's a very good unit

It's all about first engagement.
With hide it and set a trap.
Usually after first usage of Pak43, it already paid for itself.
After first time, decent enemy will stay out of the range so it is crucial to make the best possible use in the first engagement.

Once I was able to knock out IS2 in 9secs in 1v1 thanks to hidden pak43 :D

Pak 43 shooting through buildings is incredibly stupid, especially the fact that you can place it immediately right behind the building.

It shoots through groves of trees, too, that other units cannot. I never liked the ability it could shoot through both, especially on the building rich maps that promotes the camping nature (MGs in houses, ISGs in back, which means you can't flank with men and with the Pak 43 shooting through buildings, you can't get the tanks in.)

srsly, the game is made to be as realistic as possible with the real fog of war,winter effects and everything, and then pak43 can shoot through buildings..am i the only one here that thinks this is crazy ??

Also Pak43 can be decrew by snipers, nades, any AI infantry to shooting at it, and steal for themselves, so easy to kill the crew also, the crew won't heal themselves if wounded, and can't refill dead crew member themselves, while 17 pounder, when you able to decrew it, it is usually 1 hit from destruction which won't be worth it to steal it. (I steal a OKW pak43 before and used it to destroy 3 HQs and 2 tanks :D)

If it's so fragile, let the player defend it, rather than abuse a nuance. FFS, why can't ALL AT guns fire through buildings and tree groves then? They're just as "fragile", aren't they? Good for the goose, good for the gander.

Being able to shoot through buildings is the only thing the PaK43 has going for it. Even then, neither I nor any high skilled players I watch ever build it since there are soooo many units and abilities that wipe kill it or decrew it. Unit is fine. Feature intended.


I have to agree with you if you're talking about Ostheer. As OKW you're having 90% of the time enough MP to rebuild one. Even had a game ehere I had in the middle my med HQ and on both side a Pak43. No tank is coming through Kappa

We did not have enough fuel to stand agasint them but hey! I was ale to build 6 paks43 through entire game :megusta:

Even tho that each pak lived only for 2-4mins, it was enough to pay for itself.

That OKW Pak43 spam :megusta:

Indeed, Pak43 is very accessable for OKW, for Ostheer it's a bit different.

Sure. Just remove brace from 17pounder and make it one-shot any axis tank.
