Far better than the current design. Looks more functional as well.

Relic - we get it. USF is supposed to be mobile and aggressive. Doesn't mean the base needs to be in the shape of a wheel.

Yes. The Brit base is so compact and convenient that infantry can easily obtain weapons at the rack right next to where they retreat, and vehicles easily path around it.

USF really needs to be redisgned to be as simple instead of its current unnecessary largeness, complete with vehicle and infantry pathing failure (and very unconveniently located weapon boxes)

Part of what I had in mind was room for you to park the ambulance right outside the retreat point, hence the wide open center. Riflemen retreat to the Truck, heal up with the Ambulance parked nearby, and can arm up on the way back out.

As for the actual Ambulance, I would have preferred if it was a Jeep driven by Medics, like in Band of Brothers. Coincidentally, the episode that featured the Medic Jeep was during the Battle of the Bulge.

Yes, yes exactly. I like that suggestion, good thinking good sir!

I agree OP. One question though: being able to hide infantry inside the circular structure can come in handy during a light vehicle or TA base rape- what if the square one still retained the sandbag perimeter?

This so much. The green cover the current base has is so useful for hiding.

Am i the only one that likes the USF Base itself, but just doesnt like where the weapon racks are on some maps? An auto rotation depending on where you spawn would be fine.

Yea, I feel that way. Just rotate the damn thing, why can't it be done automatically instead of relying on the damn map maker to remember to rotate the thing.

Current US base is stupidly round, it's like a perfect circle. This one is much better.

Circle the wagons boys! The injuns are about!

If the USF base wasn't as large as the fucking AoE for the Scavenger Doctrine arty from OKW, there wouldn't have been an issue about the arty wiping USF base @700 muni.

I do like the USF base's circular layout, but I also very much like OP's much cleaner design.
