I don't like the official forums because of the theme. Too dark and I don't really know where anything is. The age verification every time is also annoying although it could be that it disappears after some visits.

+1. Plus the editor is kind of odd.

by run, i mean they are members who basically "control" the discussion, shutting down all who disagree with their point of view.

no, katitof and alex just post a ton. those guys on the official forums are ideologically motivated.

Official forums only, cancer pleases me :snfPeter:

But I have accounts in both. I wonder how my official forums one is getting on after all these months...

i have accounts on both but i prefer this website. It is more organized and flashy than the official forums. however, i do think this website can be improved as well.

Technically I have an account on both, but only posted once or twice on the official. I let Katitof try to talk sense into the people over there. Also the theme, as someone stated, is TERRIBLE.

This site is much better for any COH2 discussion of any sort.

Hardly the right place to ask to get a balanced opinion to be fair, but CoH2.org is love, CoH2.org is life.

I have no choice, seeing as I'm banned from the official forums. (it was me being dumb)

Where's the "I don't use CoH2.org" option? :P

One problem with .com is the buggy software. When I post it's not clear what's happening - it tries to download a file (lol?), then when I check the thread it looks like it failed. But if I go out and back in again the post is actually there (sometimes). Things are steadily improving though - before I couldn't write line breaks but now after only 2 years I have zero issues with that! (coh2 parallels?)

I'm going to go against the grain and say .com is far nicer to read in terms of colour. Maybe .org looks better in a productivity environment, but Relic knows their audience - evening gamers who don't want to bathe in the light of 1000 suns.

Heh, my original design for coh2.org was light text on dark backgrounds, and it got shot down pretty hard. It would be cool to have a reverse skin (a "turn off the lights!") for coh2.org but it would actually be a ton of work to create and we're always busy with other priorities.

Big images look great on the official site: http://community.companyofheroes.com/forum/company-of-heroes-2/company-of-heroes-2-general-discussion/competitive-events/company-of-heroes-2-events/191961-operation-charlie-fox-a-crowd-funded-1v1-tourney-announced-on-coh2-org

but I have the same problems that others have already mentioned -- the "create post" editor is clunky and buggy. Making those posts (embedding images, trying to add links, trying to embed a video, trying to format the text) is an absolute nightmare. Sometimes I try to make a post and just get so frustrated with the editor that I eventually give up and abort the post entirely.
