Have you missed the announcement of the Valentine? A Light Tank marginally more expensive than an M5 Stuart, but with a 75mm gun and IR Half-Track spotting?

Eh, I haven't played UKF but they seem incapable of pushing someone off the map like the Soviets and Amis can. Valentine will probably get price nerfed anyway.

How about as a swap-in for the Stuart? Like Tales of Valor had.

Valentine is what Chaffee (or actually, Stuart) needs to be.

all the more reason to put the chafee in there it just needs to have something that makes the chaffee unique from the Valentine what i leave it up to you

The Chaffee is very late war and isn't "sexy" like the Pershing. So it's not as popular to include in various games.
It's still sexier than all the sherman variants together. +1 for chaffee from me.

how do you think the M24 Chafee would play out if it was implemented into the USF arsenel a light jack-of-all trades tank or just like the M5 Stuart?

Lol your bias hahaha

Anyhow, how about we first give the Ostheer some useful light vehicles, like a Panzer III with the shorter barreled 50 mm gun, and the USF a Perhsing.

That is not the piont. The point is that it should enhance the gameplay and the game itself. The USF has a great light tank, the stuart. The stuart has a great stun ability with which it can tackle a puma from the OKW faction and the 222 :foreveralone: from the Ostheer faction.

If you give the m24 Chaffee to the USF, the Ostheer will get routed in the early game by not only the M5 quad or t70 rush, but also a stuart/m24 chaffee rush. What kind of light vehicle does the Ostheer have to fight this? The 222 :foreveralone: ? That is right none. The OKW can fight it off with the Puma, the Ostheer will get stomped into the ground.

Thus, Ostheer needs a potent light vehicle if the m24 chaffee is added, let's say a Panzer III with the shorter barreled 50 mm gun, so it can not only counter the m24 chaffee, but also the nuisance of an early t70, stuart and M5 quad.

Regarding the Pershing and the M24 Chaffee, I rather see the USF get a tank that can actually fight heavies than the M24 Chaffee. But hey, that is my two cents.

Panzer III would overlap with Puma much. If anything, StuG III should be the "uber light vehicle".

Unfortunately Relic has already compensated by giving British a total of five possible medium tanks, plus a 75mm scout car, and no doubt many people here will tout that as progress.

A Panzer III Ausf. N (infantry support tank) would pretty much be a StuG E with a turret. It'd be more comparable to the AEC than the Puma.

I'd love for a Panzer III plopped in Ostheer T2, but requiring Phase Three tech to unlock. Ostheer currently doesn't get to play in the Light Tank / Heavy Armoured Car stage, they just jump from Scout Cars to Medium Tanks. It's the reason Mechanized Assault and Mobile Defense are so popular, a light vehicle that can participate.

There is not a single role in USF army that wouldn't already be covered by existing vehicle.

Maybe give it a valentine-esque recon ability?

And make major even more irrelevant then it is already while making pointless copy paste?

Chaffe could be placed in Vietnam war, it doesn't fit here.

Not bad but id rather see the m19 gun motor carriage instead it was a twin 40mm bofors gun on the m24 chassis.

It could easily replace the m8, although not the same role, the m8 is useless and doesn't really fit any role USF needs. Nor does the chaffee

Given the UKF's Centaur, I'd say the M19 GMC would pretty much replace every USF vehicle except Ambulance and Scott. M36 maybe, unless it's up against a KT.

I would like to see a similar unit, the American AT halftrack. That we be a nice addition to the USF.

What do you mean? Cromwell is generally better to get anyway , idk what you mean it would replace any vehicle it would have to be t4 or high cp doctrinal call in since its gun would be nuts and its on a light armor tank chassis. And it cannot replace any other vehicle, Sherman and Jackson are needed, so i'm not sure what you mean by that.

Although they could just simply add it to t4. But it most likely wont be. ;)
