In team games is it now axis 60% vs allies 40% (in searching game).
Much more better then before patch (90% vs 10%).

They can nerf axis forever, it will always be more people wanting to play axis. Tiger or Sherman? M1 Garand or MP44? Easy choices. Nobody wants to play as bolsheviks.

I love DP-28's, not necessarily for how they perform but how they look and sound. But they can only be obtained from 2 (3?) units from the soviet army and they're all locked behind separate doctrines.

That's not true. In 1v1 the ratios are a lot closer to half and for example in CoH 1 2v2 AT had a lot more allied players because allies were a lot easier to play.
The reason for 90% axis pre-patch is only a small part due to 'axis are cool' and a much larger part due to OKW being such an incredibly easy faction to play.

coh1 had always more axis players, atleast until OF was relased and noob-mode brits was added to the game probably quinn duffys lovechild.

I would say it's more about the "coolness" factor. Just look the forum arguments. PANTHER WAS DA BEST TANK, TIGER IZ DIS, KT IS DAT, MG42 DAKADAKA HISTORY GERMAN OP SHERMAN PAPER ARMOR. There is an aura of coolness around German army which makes players to play axis more.

Allies feel allot better in 4v4s now, I have managed to get a 21 streak with soviets, Ober spam is not so much of a problem anymore
