You all cry about Obers but I think the biggest blow OKW got is Volks nerf.
I think this change will change OKW play and its meta drastically
They actually got a huge buff. The new Vet 5 ability they get gives them a 43% increase in the ROF of their shreks and Kar98ks.
Aw look, OKW can't just blob two types of units and a-move them to victory anymore.

fusiliers are like rifles where theyre kinda in an awkward spot where theyre better than regular infantry but worse than elites. they have a very tough time dealing with close range specialists even with g43s, and they do take awhile to vet up since they can only really damage infantry. obers on the otherhand have most of the firepower focused in one entity that lets them quickly take out models.
They are essentially just filler for your army. Flares are helpful as well.
Problem with OKW is not so much in their specific units themselves, but in the fundamental faction design, which in turn necessitates the nature of said units (Volks/Obers and their synergy) and, well, their blobbing. Try not blobbing these two types of units and a-moving - you'll have a hard time, because A: you dont have alternatives in the first place B: Your supplementary units are rarely cost effective, and typically cannot function on their own. Voilà, embrace the suck.
It really doesn't help OKW lacks any sort of MP dump in the form of support weapons or tanks resulting in the super huge float which encourages people to just pump out buttloads of infantry but only ever get 1 tank.
It's been said before, OKW needs something to bridge the gap between the lights and the heavies.

Because the Problem wasnt their ability to take out tanks Late Mid game but to shut them down early game. While being backed up by Obers to kill all the Handheld AT Counters, While getting Vet 5 and being fully immune. Then wait for the Panther for the ultimate LOL.
I could care less about Vet 5 DPS late game if they are bleeding MP white and getting their heads kicked in by AI infantry for once.
Pfuse, Falls and JLI didnt add to the cost effectivness because they lack the .7 inc acc modifier.
So I am glad Volks arent going to be useless. But I am also glad they will be bled for being stupid.

Well, uh, you might want to reconsider this line of thought because the massive increase in ROF on their shreks at Vet 5 mean they will be doing a lot more DPS. Who cares if they are not as durable? Relic claimed they wanted to deal with shreks being a little to good, but then apply a huge buff to the Volk Shrek.
Fallsch, JLI, and Pfuss have something Obers don't: utility.
EDIT: This doesn't even take into account the Rackten finally not being garbage, the more I think about it the more all in all the changes seem more like an OKW buff than a nerf.

I very rarely ever used Obers before, and will only rarely use them now. Not really much of a change for me.

Yup. That's what happens when you give viable AT capabilities to your core infantry, design problem.

With the nerf obers, now they are juat regular elite troops instead of super soldiers. Thats right, now you have to use little bit of strategy for them now.
Not really, they just reduced their damage by 25%. They will still be quite good at their job, if maybe a bit expensive if your stretched thin on resources.

Good news: volks are even more ridiculous at killing tanks and the puchpen and support gun are insanely good now.
Overall the okw got some pretty tasty buffs so obers i will replace them with something decent. like volks i guess

Not really, they just reduced their damage by 25%. They will still be quite good at their job, if maybe a bit expensive if your stretched thin on resources.
Wrong, they reduced the dps of the lmg34 by 25%, which is only carried by 1 squad member, Obersquad dps with lmg was reduced by 16% at max range.. the dps loss decreased with decreasing range.
