I was hoping for another few months of dev time. I remember in Alpha asking the head UI designer why there was just one number for all kills and not divided by type, like armor, infantry, etc. He said they were going to do that. Guess not. Lame.
We did - it's on mouse over of the number.

Besides, the kill count barely matters compared to horizontal resources, a hard to read minimap, and stuff like that.

Wow, these changes are SO obvious and make the game so much better..... not MVGame
I at least have some hope left that someone at relic (quinn maybe?) is gonna see the light and that they do adjust the UI at some point. Maybe a year from now...
I can still not understand how anybody (especially dudes that are designing UIs for a living) could look at that layout and think "oh yeah, way better than coh". And the beta forum pretty much said the same thing.

Did anyone else notice that the upkeep was +99 in the new screenshot? So apparently no tweaks to upkeep yet, pretty much the most obvious and important change.
You are confusing upkeep with manpower income.
And ye change that damn interface or i'm not buying this game.
Just like, put the resources in the old position and your interface just improved by 250%.
Then there is a still a bit of small things, like that massive middle banner with information nobody gives a crap about, but resources is really the priority.

Did you see how many units there were in that screenshot? I can understand a mp income that low in a situation displayed there. And besides, that screenshot is from the campaign I think. They can adjust mp income for the single player missions if they wanted too, if it would help the gameplay in a certain mission.

+1 to not buying and other statements...,
Fun is that actually beside the new fun things like coldtech, vaulting, new graphics, playing modes - core elements of the game goes totally wrong direction.
