At the beginning of a game, do you rotate the camera facing your enemy?

Or do you prefer to have it facing your base?

Standard cam faces different directions on different maps though.

So preferably, which would you prefer?

I usually use the "standard cam", which is whatever the camera angle is when the game begins. I only very rarely ever turn the angle a tad bit when I'm watching replays.

I always use the standard cam, and rotate it when I need to see behind trees and stuff.

Facing enemy base and tilting it a bit to see the horizon a little more

Though he is very entertaining...

Only Cata rotates the camera. I've never seen anyone else doing it.

Ive got that one buddy who always rotates the camera, which makes teamgame communication really interesting...

"They are capping the right VP!"
"Which one is that now?"

"Quick, the elefant is in the north, flank it"
"Okay let us clarify which part of the map is the north"
"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH..."

Just keep the standard cam rotation please!^^

ill always "place" my own base in the center bottom of the minimap. so that i have the feeling of pushing forwards or retreating backwards. on some maps this doest work that well so i just "place" it some where in the bottom (semoisky north im bottom left etc)

Exactly, this is what I do as well.

It's annoying to have enemies coming onto the screen from the bottom (when you face allied base)

It makes a lot of sense to rotate to face the enemy. On the other hand when you're trying to learn all the nuances of a map adding an extra variable can be a bit much. That and the textures look a lot better at the default angle.
