Do you know the exact stats for the normal vision range, G43 range, upgrade vision range, and so forth? cohstats have them at 35. I follow muni to pzS strat so I ignore the G43 upgrade initially.

So 6 man panzerfusiliers are extremely durable, get more range with vet and 3 G43s and more accuracy with sturmofficer? No wonder rifle squads just melt in the face of them. T.T

Worst thing that ever happened to me was dropping a Browning M1919 and a squad of vet 5 Panzerfusiliers picking it up. It was retarded. Was ready to uninstall in rage afterwards. Nothing could kill them, and they would snipe entire squads across the screen in seconds.

Yea those vet 5 units OP lol. But in all seriousness Fusiliers are probably going to get nerfed in the near future. And soon, they will be the new meta when people's hard ons for Fallschrimes goes down

About their veterancy - just because they have 5 levels of it, it doesn't mean that the bonuses they get are so much better than those given to 3 vet levels units.

In terms of "hard" stats, Panzerfüsilier vet bonuses are only slightly better than those of Rifles.

So what are the exact stats for sight range? (with G43 and without) Does anyone know? I can't find them in any of the tables.

I really like Fusiliers. I don't see why people say they're OP though. They seem to fit neatly into the game. With Obersoldaten I can understand people's frustration. But Fusiliers, nah, they die just fine.

They get 50% bonus with G43s. Base sight range seems to 35 (like most units).

I love these things. Always get the job done. I prefer the G43 upgrade, and at vet 5, they have unlimited passive sprint. Also, with g43's, they vet up super fast.

Try going up against a blob of Obersoldaten, panzerfusilier, volks, sturm pios and sturm officer with some AT support -> You are going to have a bad time. Brings back bad memories of the brit blob. Imo panzerfusiliers are too good for 3 cp callin and 290 manpower. They scale like crazy and are too durable, have panzerfausts and snipe rifles costing 280 manpower.

What people seem to forget is that once the officer is killed this will cause all units in his range to quit fighting and retreat to hq. And it's not about killing the whole squad, just the officer. Isn't this a serious drawback? So I'm sorry, nothing makes me think fusiliers, officer or any blob you mentioned are overpowered.

I actually do not make the officer just because of the unwanted retreats.

Why would you keep officer in the range of danger for the reason other then being "too bad not to blob"?

Its not like you need him to vet or something.

Well, I'm sure you heard about flanking and true sight, haven't you?

Sure I did.

Last soviet that tried that with shocks on my officer have seen "Stalin sucks" leaflets above its head and run off to HQ crying.

If a blob flanked you, its probably a blob of automatic weapons and you want to retreat anyway.

Other then that, your games must be quite hard and challenging for you, you know, I've yet to see you post something where you wasn't flanked or ambushed or bombed or what not.

You might want to start using scouting abilities, like panzerfusilier flares.

I kind of agree with Katitof, I've learned to keep my officer back. It costs micro but you get he bonus.

But of course Heini is also right that it's a serious drawback, he's a double-edged sword.

+ you get the bonus
+ you get 2 abilities
- forced retreat
- extra micro

Do you guys actually use his abilities? I find them a tad expensive for what they do.

Yes, after getting jagdpanzer(or whatever armored AT you choose) you should get muni conversion rolling to kit yourself with upgrades and spare muni for abilities.

I have yet to use his mark target, but his forced retreat is AMAZING against shocks and maxims.

Hey does Sturmzofficer's aura and the Ostheer officier focus fire ability stack with each other? If it is then Panzerfusilier will be even more crazy.
