If you manage to make Obersoldaten in 1v1 or 2v2, you deserve to be able to kill a few rifles.

Wait until you meet these guys, you'll be the first one to recreate this thread.

Unless extremely high long range DPS, bonus accuracy against retreating units, fire on the move with LMG, self regen, insane scaling and suppression and with upgrade ignores most of cover sounds balanced to you

They are GAD DANG strong. I'm not saying OP, but GAD DANG STRONG.

From the OKW side it's more like;

19/23/24 DPS w/ reload according to the charts. That's surprising. IMO, Olbers should be no better than vetted LMG42 Grens that you pay extra for.

Maybe those models would've been more accurate.

Jokes aside; you are not supposed to engage them with infantry, they are the hard counter to infantry. Against vehicles they are helpless and they only arrive at midgame. So I personally see no issue.
If you loose a squad, especially with the upgrade you are in serious trouble.

They are countered by M3 and M20 utility cars, if you don't have vehicles when they arrive or refuse to produce vehicles when they are on the field, it's your on fault.

I agree with Acht. Plus, the reinforce time is painful.

It's an interesting unit, I like them and when playing Allies they are the least of my problems TBH.

Ive noticed that most OKW squads take forever to reinforce - as for obersoldaten, i found the m20 to counter elite infantry, fausts are annoying, but survivable. (M20 mines are extremely useful, no more engis getting shot vulnerable, it is able to shoot doing it.) Stuarts... are somewhat annoying as well. Just gotta watch out for Puppchens...
