i've had this idea the last week and wanted to trow it in here and see some feedback, basically i thought that it could be added an upgrade to the sniper requiring 30muni to grant him a spotter that improves slighlty his sight and that can't fire,if the sniper dies the spotter can't shoot but it can retreat and reinforce with a new snipers for 180mp how does it sounds too unblanced? let me know, obviusly the costs are just an example

Makes as much sense as putting SU-85 upgrade that will make it a turreted, 270 armor, 960 hp tank.

I dont see a problem with this idea personally if the spotter fires too, doesnt snipe, and breaks stealth.

I'd prefer a single unit on russian sniper or at least, if the russian spotter dies, the sniper can't shoot and you are forced to retreat to base.

no no no,this would make german sniper spam even more problematic because soviet sniper aim time and everything is much slower.

no sniper teams plox... change the soviet sniper team into 1 man sniper and VOILAAA, you have some fareness in the sniper battles.

you have some fareness in the sniper battles? what about fareness in tank battles? germans cant win on everything, deal with it!!

I would rather avoid snipers becoming the primary counter to other snipers. It's a really shitty dynamic.

It would be nice though, if right-clicking a scout-car with a sniper would actually target the garrisoned models instead of the vehicle.

I really really tried to incorporate snipers into my builds... I am a decent to above average player on both faction sides, but for the life of my I just cannot keep that damn German sniper alive to where I feel I got use out of him. It's always a mortar, a rifle salvo, a rng at gun shot that gets him. Granted sometimes it's my micro failure but other times I babysit te shit out of him. The micro he requires sometimes isn't Worth it and distracts from other units.
One other thing I tried to put in Into the halftrack that comes with the German commander and it performed horribly, definitely bugged.

On the soviet side... I can get my sniper 60+ kills and was ranked in top 30 with this strat until a series of unfortunate events got me back to top 50. Those events playing the gys In top 10 lol. Also a lot random disconnections and bugsplats tho :/.. Battleservers eh?

OST sniper is in first tier. He cannot counter snipe, but in killing is very good. OST have MG and mortar for cover, but Soviets must build another tier for 50 fuel.

obviously it was just an idea i stumbled because of the super-easy soviets squad wipe and the omniscient RNG didn't say that sniper stats canìt be reworked and they can be moved to t2 if you really think that they are op this way,anyway i'm good with actual ost snipers which i build regularly
